    Paid version: magnet
    Free version: Rectangle

rectangle indeed, still not as smooth as windows, but it's a good option

I've been using Magnet for years. It also works really well when my MacBook pro is connected to my 2 external 4k widescreen monitors.!

sorry but upgrading an M3 macbook pro to 16GB RAM is a waste of money. You could have gone for the M3 pro for almost the same price difference; except you get 18 GB RAM, faster CPU performance bandwidth, additional ports etc.

For snapping windows to side of screen I use Rectangle… I use it religiously

Regarding resizing your screen, I use Magnet app for Mac. Does all type of split screen features and shortcuts

You can add the keyboard backlight setting to the control center to get to it slightly faster

I have 1 question. Does it directly support two monitors? or do I have to buy a separate docking station?

No you need a docking station for 2 monitors.

Testing a timeline with 5 clips is not indicative of anything, as with most of us, we are editing anywhere from 30 clips to 500 clips timelines frequently, and that's where both the Vram and RAM kicks in. In this tiny test, you wouldn't even get close to bottlenecking anything.
In reality, apple products are never worth the value. They are premium products for people who don't understand price per performance. If you're looking for the absolute top performance, sure, Apple might be worth looking into. But the second you take into account the value of things, Apple products will never be a consideration.

The M series chips slow down once your timeline grows and when you start loading in effects.

    Hey
Great video but for TH-cam content you could have buy the iPad pro M2 and run all with a USB 4.0 splitter with PD included it is working fine for.most of the work...if is mobility you are searching with speed editor from davinci some Logitech Bluetooth keyboard is a great on road solution...did a ton of video this summer for music festivals resolve on ipad with the cheat mode is mostly working fine and with 4 2TB SSD attached to it even multicam live event editing in edit page😊

Does video editing get more and more complex ? Laptops in 2013 were good enough for adobe blah

Hey, thank you for your great content! I'm a Premiere Pro user and I'm in the position of deciding which of these machines is the right choice for me, an i7 13th gen CPU PC or an m3 max mac book pro. The question is: Does the MacBook really and insanely have less lag in daily usage and on the premiere timeline? Is it a really lag-free machine compared to the PC? Does Premiere perform better and experience less crashes on the mac?

It is definitely snapper with the M chips. The chip design is just so fast at doing basic timeline stuff it makes an amazing editing experience and for stability I'd say it still crashes am personally yet to find any set up that is so crash free.

I know people who became millionaires with weaker laptops and never used a desktop in their career. So it depends what people do with it.

TLDR: You need to learn how to use macOS and Control Center.
