    Hi,
    Can a faulty Pressure Control Valve, of a diesel car's fuel injection pump, cause hard starts in the mornings ? You see, I've checked almost everything else (battery, starter, glow plugs, EGR, MAF, etc., etc.) and all working well.
    The hard starts only happens in the morning, I dont get hard starts throughout the day, not in between trips, not even between short trips.
    Hope you can help.
    Thanks in advance !

    Very good teacher. Let’s say you want to automatically apply power to the control valve and have the cylinder keep retracting and extending. Will I need a limit switch at each end of the stroke and a linkage rod connected to the limit switches?

    hello have a question,
    Need some help please I am wondering why there is no Filter in this hydraulic system? If there was one where would be the correct location before the pump or before returning to the tank?

    • @KletteTech
      @KletteTech  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks for the question. In my schematic there is no filter because I did not draw it in. On the machine there is a filter built into the power unit but that is under the cabinet. If I were to draw a filter, I would place it on the return line for sure. When a system is filtered there is typically one on the return line. I hope this answers your question. If you have any more please let me know.

    • @anthonygiordano6265
      @anthonygiordano6265 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      KletteTech hi this helps and sort of still confusing me because I see some drawings that the filter is before the the pump. Any reasons why?

    • @KletteTech
      @KletteTech  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That is such a great question. Typically there is a filter symbol before the pump when there is a strainer in the tank. The strainer is attached to the pump's suction line. This is confusing because a filter and a strainer have the same symbol. So, that symbol between the tank and the pump is for a strainer in the tank. It is very hard to access because it is submerged in the oil.
