The most triggering part for me was when Chris’ mother in particular kept on making excuses for why her son would have sex with a woman he was not attracted to without telling her initially. When Paige talks about her and Chris having sex on their wedding night, his moms response was “he probably had to much to drink at the reception” then Paige hits her with the “we had sex this morning too”. I was so disappointed with the lack of accountability from Chris and his family!
This is partly why Chris is the way he is.

It’s not just in relationships. Haitian Christians really think the more misery you’re enduring the closer you are to God. Girl I wished you watched the actually wedding episode because there was a lot to unpack. Like how he asked her if she was a tomboy (as if she wasn’t wearing an entire wedding gown, lashes, wig, nails and makeup done). Then He proceeds to say to her friends that she’s not a trophy wife and that he is used to “prissy women”. As if Paige and her beautiful dark skin can’t be prissy 🙄. Sir if you like light skin women just say that. I also think her friends should’ve told her what he said to them at the wedding. Also his dad is just disgusting. His dad and friends sexualized her at the wedding because she has a big butt. His dad tried to give her advice on her wifely duties regarding g sex. Like casting crew and the experts really fumbled on this one.
Yesss I’m thinking the friends found all of this out at the reception. They obviously didn’t tell her, because she would’ve known that information before sleeping with him and being blindsided the next morning. Maybe they were trying to protect her feelings, but that would’ve been better coming from her friends than what transpired with Chris.
They figured they change it up and force him to change… Pastor always asking / telling if your way didn’t work then why nit change it up? But right after a broken engagement…?
I think Married at First Sight purposely parrot them up because they wanted drama what a lot of people need to understand is that these producers have degrees in Psychology and then do constitute testing to see what type of person you are what's going to be the most likely action you're going to do they figure that out way before they even let you get on the show in front of TV this was on purpose can't nobody sway me differently

However, don’t believe the hype that black men don’t want us and don’t marry black woman & that the only way we will find a love where we are cherished is outside our race. And having personally experienced a person I loved leave me for a white women it is definitely an easy narrative to run with. I’ve been watching MAFS for years now & this season proved that it turned more into reality TV than to the actual success of the couples. I think they started on this path the DC season which I think is 2 seasons prior to this one where that was the first sprinkle of them not caring about the success rate but caring more about the ratings.
The only season I've watched is the season with the annoying virgin girl. I tried to watch the seasons before and the people were so weird looking to me I couldn't watch.
New Orleans was amazing!!! It was a real letdown to see the shenanigans this season.
