It looks like an anesthetized experience with the paddle shifting trend these days. I'm not meaning to take anything away from the drivers and it is still a great experience for spectators, however, I find classic saloon racing much more engaging to watch and the manual gearbox shifting often wins or loses a race. Still, at least there are still drivers and not autonomous drones being driven by gamers in bedrooms across the land. That will come next I foreshadow.
"Still, at least there are still drivers and not autonomous drones being driven by gamers in bedrooms across the land." Why will come? It sort of already is. There are plenty of new drivers who actually became drivers by playing racing simulators in their bedrooms. Check it out. For example, William Byron. Quoting one of the articles: "Unlike most drivers, Byron didn’t cut his teeth in go-karts or tearing up anonymous dirt tracks. His introduction and ascension as a racing prodigy came instead via iRacing, a popular online simulator backed by NASCAR."
im curious, why does the car have paddle shifters and a regular shifter......seems a but redundant that the paddle shifters also control the regular shifter
jamaicanlovrboy they probably had to retrofit paddles or something. That hand lever was there from stock and it’s probably easier/cheaper to just leave it
Awesome onboards as always 👏

If the car loses hydraulics for the gearbox he can still change gear sequentially and manually. It's not a 'regular' shifter.
Who is the hand throttle for?
They have a disabled driver in their team
i think its a break ;)
Impressive; leaving the gt4 cars behind
At 1:11:00 great job kkkkk
Cool at 1:17:18 hahaha 👏👏👏
Driver #1 is sitting too close to the steering wheel. Driver #2 is even closer at 01:22:00. Absurd.
