Lived the San Diego life for 35 years. Ran a successful interior design/faux finish business spent hundreds a weekend in the gas lamp quarter on fine food and booze, bought the H2 and jaguar to keep up with the Jones. Realized that there is more to life than this. I sold material possessions to retire at 35 in a small town in northern Idaho. Best choice I ever made. They can have it.

@@malakazairia7752 Its beautiful out the cost of living use to be low. But not so much now. When you sell you 1bed 1 bath house in Ca and move to ID you can buy a mini mansion with money left over to furnish it.Not now too many people already did it.

to me the best city to live in california. san francisco es la mas original y encantadora.... pero san diego tiene ese encanto juvenil inencontrable en muchas otras grandes ciudades... la flota naval del pacifico radica alli. juventud, juventud, juventud.... armonia es lo que se siente al estar alli,,,, tiene un paisaje variado, playas, montanias, .... ademas el clima para mi es el mejor de estados unidos.... divertida pero segura. diversa... pero con aire de conservadurismo.... su vida nocturna ha crecido desde que la visite en 1999. el gas lamp distric reboza de luminocidad jovenes divertidos, musica y baile..... como me gustaria volver hoy dia.
