    the distortion on the image after putting the preset on actually looks super sick and makes your vlogs have a unique look!! i'm super surprised of how good the camera is for such a low price. great review aidin!

    Great video! I'm going to buy it for myself. Do you think this lens will work well with my GH4? And I also wanted to know. What is the transition between frames? Looks very nice! I mean like this 1:10 or 1:46

    • @AidinRobbins
      @AidinRobbins  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! The lens will look pretty much the same on the GH4 as it does in my footage. The second transition is a little more complicated, but they're both basically a smooth zoom with a twirl effect animated over them.

    My copy of the lens also has a hyperfocal scale in front of the aperture ring, which is very helpful for manual fucussing. All other inscriptions on the frame of the front lens are missing. The lens is a masterpiece of fine optical precision that nobody in Europe can produce anymore. I am enthusiastic about the sharpness already with the open aperture.

    Dude.... I'm shocked you don't have way more subs yet. You content is very polished. Could you do a tutorial on the transition at 1:47? I watched it like 10 times and in slow motion. The clickless aperture is meant for video. This way you can adjust the exposure smoothly while filming. With a clicked aperture ring this is impossible. Your video is awesome, I watched some of your stuff and it feels fresh. I'm definitely gonna subscribe. The de-fishing tip is awesome! I'll be stealing that one! And the lens is on my list. Thanks for bringing it to our attention and keep creating! You rock!

    If you have a bigger budget the LAOWA 7.5mm might be a great option, it doesn't suffer from fish eye distortion and is faster at F2. It can also focus extremely close.

    Hello Aidin, I like your test and review of the 7artisans fish eye lens but your remarks on focal length are not right. Declared are 7,5 mm at full format sensors. The equivalence focal length at APS-C sensors (crop factor 1,5-1,6) reads 11,25...12 mm and not 9 mm! This information is relevant because the typical distortion of a fish eye lens decreases from center to margin. The highest loss of distortion you have at micro four thirds sensors (crop factor 2.0), equivalence focal length 15 mm.

    when filming in 4k 24fps with this lens, what shutter speed you use? 1/50? because your clips looked so smooth when rotating around...
    Congrats on your channel, really cool and useful! :)

  • @AnandaGarden
    @AnandaGarden 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a Sony E-mount version ( amzn.to/2zcPUCq ) but since that's full frame it would be wayyyyy too wide, to get the same look you should go with a 15mm
