Thrifting videos are my favorite! There's something very satisfying and relaxing about them. I love the two tops you got. It's better to find a couple of gems rather than a big haul of things you won't actually use.
I love your thrift with me's because they're realistic! I used to feel such pressure to find pieces, that I'd buy things that I didn't actually like. Some days are good and some are 'meh' and that's just the reality of thrifting. Your videos have taught me how to appreciate finds but also recognize that not every one is meant to be taken home. ❤
It's so interesting to see how much more confident you have gotten in filming at the thrift store. Like even though it was busy you still seemed so relaxed talking to the camera. Really something you should be proud of💪❤
✨️Ways to make knits less itchy!!!!✨️ Conditioner You can use hair conditioner or wool conditioner to soften knits. For wool, you can massage diluted conditioner into the knit and then wash it on a wool program to remove excess. For acrylic yarn, you can soak the knit in warm water, add conditioner, massage it in, and let it sit for at least 15 minutes before rinsing. Vinegar White vinegar can help soften and freshen knits by reducing scales and smoothing fibers. You can soak the knit in a mixture of cold water and a few tablespoons of vinegar for 15 minutes, then rinse. You can also add vinegar to the rinse cycle of your washing machine.
I absolutely agree that thrift with me videos are the best! Also, that white top you were wearing in the video was the best ❤ Two wonderful staple finds at the thrift store, in my opinion, is truly amazing 😻
I enjoy learning a little more about fashion through your videos because honestly it changes soooo much and it’s a little hard for me to navigate what my style even is at this point 🤷🏻♀️
I wish I lived nearby, there's so many times I've been like 'it would take me a minute to trim and run around that lettuce hem with the overlocker then it would be perfect for you' or 'I have a massive jar of buttons, I could fix that'.
for the hem on those tops. You could re-hem the top to remove the detail. If you are careful you shouldn't remove too much of the shirt length to get rid of it. You can even him by hand if you don't have a sewing machine. Also they make hem tape. Which is basically double-sided tape that fuses to the fabric (without sewing). Depending on the type of hem tape you get it can me washable as well. ...Just an idea if you really like a top but hate the detail on the bottom edge.
Hey when would you recommend starting to thrift for fall? I know thrift stores have clothes of all seasons all year round, but the last time I went to my thrift store it was pretty much all summer clothes, but that changes so quick, especially with back to school coming up. Also I love your thrifting videos ❤
✨️tip for trying things on at the thrift with no dressing room✨️ Find a fitted bandeau or tank top. Put it on and shimmy it up into place under whatever top you're wearing then you can remove your top and (if it's a tank top) pull up the straps. Tada, you now have something that tops/dresses will lay correctly on. And with pants, find a skirt (easier with an elastic band) and put it on normally over whatever pants you're wearing. Remove pants and you can try bottom on under the skirt and theyll lay correctly on your body. (I try my best to wear either a skirt or spandex shorts/leggings and a bandeau or tanktop whenever I'm going to a thrift store that doesn't have dressing rooms but sometimes I forget too lol)
With lettuce hems I feel like they look strange on more casual tops, like they were only put there because lettuce hems were trendy at the time. With more frilly/girly tops I feel like they make sense, they suit the style whether that type of hem is trendy or not.
You probably already thought of this, but when you don’t like the color of a shirt, but you like the silhouette, what about using some rit dye to change the color? Also think about this I could see you taking like an 80s puff sleeve dress to a seamstress in getting it chopped into a cute top and and if it’s gonna be a forever piece, why not alter it. Make things work for you! ❤
The skirt you just pulled out at the beginning of the video 👀👀 honestly, right now I've been wanting a midi skirt considering my short stature I think it'd hit where I want bc I'd like to feel like I tried the days it's gross and hot out without trying too much kinda seeing a guy (not trying to jinx it) running out of ideas of what to wear 😅😅

The blue t-shirt looked so cute on you. I immediately thought, California girl! I wish you'd bought the dark red top and the Pooh candlestick 🥲
There are so many things that you pull out of the rack and I think how great it would look on you and you put it back. I love these videos best.

In my humble opinion, as long as all of your bits are covered, pajamas can be daytime wear lol. Slip dresses especially are a staple of my wardrobe.
I love watching the very REAL thrifting videos! Thank you!
Perfect for my thrift trip today! I like playing these in my headphones 🎉

I’m currently working on my thrift wish list, after a couple trips I cut it in half, I just have to find the super specific things
With lettuce hems I feel like they look strange on more casual tops, like they were only put there because lettuce hems were trendy at the time. With more frilly/girly tops I feel like they make sense, they suit the style whether that type of hem is trendy or not.
i have the same blue, black & white striped shirt!
Love your thrift with mes!
I was having the same thought seeing that pyjama 😂: that i would like to wear it casually ❤. I liked especially the bottoms
The black top COULD be a pointelle knit fabric (bcos the pattern)

Hi Alexa! The pattern on that last black top is called Pointelle 🤎
