Quite good performance! The Eb-tuba player did well. Ass. Principal cornet played a good solo. The soprano player and euphonium played well too. The conductor (a skilled cornet player himself I believe) can be happy with this one...
@@JonnyCowens I wonder where they are all now in 2024 ? Some big names there on soprano cornet , solo euphonium , solo trombone , 3rd solo cornet and a few others . What happened to the rest of them ?
Quite a few talented players in this band. Solid from the bass section to the soprano cornet. Good solo playing in the 2nd movement. In the third movement they get a bit to occupied tying to play the notes, they don't make so much music out of it - as they could. This piece is quite a test.
