But....believe me if i say that rhe RP1 IS OVERBLOWING GOOD!!! so much better than the new stuff. LOVE THIS REALIBLE FLOORPEDAL. the RP1 is made for players like you, GOOD JOB MAN!
To really appreciate it you got to use it in stereo with two amps to really appreciate the full capacity of this awesome tone machine, headphones don't hurt either.
Nah, I just pulled mine out of the closet and plugged it in. I forgot how much it sucked. My $25 donner morpher distortion smokes every gain sound in the thing. Incredibly thin. the digital delay is ok. It's basically a midi controller, any zoom unit made in the last 15 years sounds better.

The only way you can make this sound good is to program your own settings. After that the sky is the limit. I had a Axl guitar sort of a Gibson copy, I was playing Sweet child omine using the rp1 it sounded nearly identical. And I mean it sounds just like the studio version. But it took a couple of days of tweaking everything just right. I love this old vintage stuff.
All the modelers are like that. Even Fractal guys say the presets are just a starting point, you have to tweak and develop your own sounds. Most presets, even on new stuff, are mediocre. You have to tweak!!!
I can't imagine anyone saying that the distortion options on this sound good. I played it through a $2500 Mesa and a pedal board made up of donner Chinese knock off pedals will destroy the rp1.
Im having an issue getting any loudness from it i have the output cranked and still nothing its going into a peavey vypyr and it has horrid feedback screeching aswell

how to reset rp1? the cr2030 battery came out and when i put it back all the leds are on

I spent the 90s with this. Miss that time...but the sound is horrible 😆
