He is now a meritorious investigator at the Allen Institute and the chief scientist for the Tiny Blue Dot Foundation. Author of four previous titles on consciousness and its footprints in the brain, Koch writes regularly for a range of media. He is a cyclist, runner, vegetarian and dog lover who lives on a small island in the Pacific Northwest
