- This is a compilation video I made from the 2013 world spintop contest. I have put together just a few seconds of all 10 freestyle spintop players, showing some of their best tricks!
I hope you enjoy the skill and talent they all brought to the stage!
So nice to see players from South and Central America! Tops have such a strong tradition in many of those countries. It provides a refreshing contrast in style. Thanks for putting that together.

@karkat vantas. Thanks for the correction.....can't fix it now, but appreciate the heads up. Many of the tops used in this video were ball-bearing design, so the tip is not still or fixed. It enables a lot of different tricks. Fixed tip tops are important too, but bearings open up a lot of new tricks.

I have noticed your video contains a small typo-- The proper name of the country is "Colombia". Much thanks for the video anyways, fantastic performances.
I am a 12 year old living in Venezuela. I only have one, still-tip top (a plastic one) it's the cheapest (Bs. 200-300 probably right now) and I want to learn how to do some of the tricks with these tops. I don't know their names, but I do know however, the characteristic of the tops from famous sellers/companies (Duncan, Strummol8, etc.) are that the tips of these tops remain still in one's hand while the top itself is the on that spins.

bluffer09 This was the World Contest, and yes there were vendors selling yo-yos. You can look at a lot of different websites to buy too.
Oh god come on now COLUMBIA really, I mean seriously even with their spanish names you couldn't spell COLOMBIA right? COLUMBIA (NORTH AMERICA), COLOMBIA (SOUTH AMERICA).
nelson freites nelson freites. LOL. I made this video on my phone over 5 years ago in my hotel room after 3:00 in the morning.......putting it together quickly so people who couldn’t be at the event could see the contest. Sure misspelled it, but come on, enjoy the tricks!
