I think why sub woofer boxes need so much bracing is because the woofer is that power. My old box i had we didn't brace it would jump like a frog all over my Hatchback
@CarAudioEnthusiasts That's exactly what my old box was doing with my new totally unique custom built custom made box built by Jecar. I don't think I'm going to have that problem again
The enclosure should be the strongest part of the build. And everyone, please bolt it down.

I f with gately audio boxes. I stayed away from the cheap boxes. Use to have q bomb until I saved up to get a gately audio box
There's also a lot of good enclosures in between the very cheap and the very expensive.
@JasonWW2000 yep. I went gately audio box n I'm happy with my subs no more for me. Or unless I get more subs n quad box. Other then that I love it
You can always learn to make your own boxes. Saves you a lot of money. 😉

I think for most folks, all you have to tell them is that when your box flexes, your losing spl. They will be adding braces real quick. Lol

yea if the sides are poppin out it will move around even jump
