Knowing how this trip will eventually end, these are the saddest, most bittersweet videos I’ve ever edited. Even with all that happened, I still hold nothing against the Russian people. You meet people there who hold all kinds of different opinions: many hate the leadership, many love the leadership, and then there’s everything in between. But even the Russians who had fully swallowed the propaganda were incredibly kind to me, even though I was an American and their supposed enemy. They treated me in a way I didn’t see anywhere else in Europe. They’re human, like anywhere else. My experiences were a good example of what happens when dictators and governments aren’t tearing people apart.

I'm glad you're still alive:)
Why wouldn't he be??? wtf

So glad you are ok! I can’t imagine what you went through but am glad you are free now
What did he go through? I was reading his post and expecting something bad to happen, but I didn't even hear him mention anything negative?
Pavel is a real one
Wow Maestro that video snagged me right at the start and stayed glued to screen. You had a wonderful holistic trip. Them folks are so easy-going and helpful! Great mountains... those Urals, though they kind of look like midgets compared caucasus, or rockies. Great job, Tommy!
Finally! A new video! Thank God, you’re alive!
Why do you wirte thank god you are alive?!?

I didn't actually see the middle part of your video until now, but I think you will be safe and hope that others will be in the future if they prepare as animals possibly come back into environments.
As you said Tommy, it is sad because you especially know what happened next. I applaud your honesty and sincerity in all you do, I only wish there could be more people like you - I also love to travel and am so pleased that you are now safe. You deserve a rest, but hopefully you can regale us with more superb videos in the near future. Take care buddy.
What happened next?
Great video sir, really enjoyed it!

clean and no sores lol
Omg!!!! 😂😂
I love your videos! Very friendly people!
I got chaga mushroom in my pantry. Supposedly good as a tea, for health and anti-cancer properties. The taste isn't really great. Thats why I got a bunch still sitting in a bag in my pantry.
Very nice video. I enjoyed it very much 👍😇🙏
I have a feeling there was a second narrative going with those mushroom ;)
Finally new episode, I was worried about u brother
This is beautiful. People want to live their lives, share stories, and create connections. I wish all the best to the Russian people.
Круто 👋 Привет из Екатеринбурга
You know every time I watch this channel. Just shows people are generally good, it’s the governments acting like jerks. We are the victim of world leaders. Even though we’re about to get into a war with Russia because of Ukraine, these people seem like good people, and I would love to go camping with them with my kids and have an amazing family day with people who are supposed to be my enemy. It’s so wrong just good people trying to survive and be good families government sucks.
Это кто собирается вступить в войну с Россией? Может мы тут чего то не знаем?
@@danascully6670Poland?
You ain't wrong, but it frightens me to think that people need a video like this to understand that. Like, did you think Russians just go around treating everyone like crap randomly? You could go to Yemen and people would be very kind to you.
@@julius43461Don't be so naive.
Goverments may suck but you're still doin jobs for them and payin taxes, which they use to support proxy wars around the world...
Such a beautiful country with lovely people. It's a shame you had such a terrible experience :( Glad that you're safe though, I was worried after you hadn't posted for a couple weeks.
The lady was really examining your passport with intense interest and scrutiny.
It looks like such a beautiful trip so far 15 mins into the video. I know your experience in Russia didn't end well but so far it's such a beautiful trip. Honestly it's been one of my favourite places you've documented to date. I am learning so much about Russia.

Great to see you here Tommy.
2:17 thank you for bringing this up Tommy, it's crazy to me how many Muslims don't know that the Hijab predates Islam.
Islam came later than Christianity, of course world religions borrow a lot from each other. Moreover, if you dig deeper, it turns out that they all talk about the same thing in different words and images.
Great chemistry with Tatiana. And I'm super impressed by the young girl's english and her accent (or lack thereof). Pablo was a vibe, wholesome video he took in the end.
There's no such thing as a 'lack thereof' of accents, jeez. Think outside yourself for once.
Thank God you're safe
Safe from what?!?

The Urals look like central Alaska. A lot of birch trees and swamps.
