Serral looks near unstoppable playing a swarmy style like this. The nydus worms for drone transfers so he's almost always mining a base that normally belongs to Terran is stellar, and provides a way to let drones escape the yolo bases and return to mining a different base very quickly thus keeping the economy very high all the time. Not having to run 20-30 drones across the map every time a expansion goes down adds up quickly.
When the siege tanks were stuck on that depot, i felt that in my finger bones
happened too often
so painfull to watch even as a main zerg ToT

It feels like a lot of recent casts have pro players making weird amatuer mistakes. The cloaked ravens and the tanks stuck in the main base being the biggest offenders. The fungal growths were so well aimed in this match I don't even know if those mistakes even mattered in the end though...
He's just sitting back absorbing every blow.... pause 😂
When I play as Zerg, I like to take the essence of local faunas too, just like the campaign story. Don’t be so surprised for what Serral did to that lil bird, Lowko
The lings were mainly to keep byun in his base. Serral just wanted to keep mining. I think so at least, irdk what’s in his brain

This is what it means to face the swarm.
You can win as many fights as you want, take efficient trades, make the fanciest army you can dream of but in the end, the countless tide consumes all.
What I expected: Serral performing a zergling rush and cheesing everything up. What I received? A master class.
For every video I bring out the whiskey and glasses and every time he says iem katowice I take a shot.

Probably lack of good high level games. Harstem, winter, lowko sometimes cast same replays
I liked the different commentary. Harstems harsher on mistakes and talked more about Serral outlining and not allowing the outer two bases for the win. Lowko on the tech route and how it effected the game.
These two would make a great commentary team!
Love watching both Lowko, Winter and Harstem commentate on games as they make it entertaining. Just never for Wardi-he makes watching paint drying 1,000,000,000,000,000 x less torturous.
I like how in that first game Byun took way too much damage but decided to play out ending that push anyway. Gotta respect it!
I remember back in the days is was an uwritten law to not kill the innocent creatures roaminh around. Im fact as Zerflf, you could parasite them and they would give you great vision.

Reliance on bigger numbers of queens has reduced the need for ling speed early IMO.

Everyone: The second game was so brilliant by Serral! He's everywhere! There's nothing Byun can do!
Me: Uh, he landed two Fungal Growths early in the game to completely smash two bio balls, setting Byun too far behind. The game was over at 10 minutes, and Serral struggled to close it out. Neither player played that great.
Maybe I'm just jaded from watching all the amazing games at IEM and Gamers Without Borders, but that second game was pretty boring to me. I enjoyed the first game -- it was a hard punish for not scouting; but the second game was just a win off the back of two early Fungal Growths. Serral know that once those two bio armies were gone he could do whatever he wanted.

Great series, even though Byun seemed to be a bit off.
Dunno what youve changed lowko with your videos but whenever go to rotate phone to enlarge it always jumps back to small screen... just a heads up has happened on the last 3 videos

Might be issue with TH-cam app in general. Iknow mine is quite buggy at times

Can a zerg pls explain the purpose of a ravager? I know it had corrosive bile, but the opponent just micros away from where it lands or micros air units out of the way. I know they can bile tanks, bunkers, or cannons but is that pretty much the only reason to make ravages? I'm terran
Better speed w/o roach speed upgrade + more range on standard attack (6 vs 4 for roach, but I'm not so sure about numbers)

A few reasons, first you can pile down tanks at max range since they cant move out of the way, you can take down bunkers and buildings from outside range, when you they are moving out of biles they aren't attacking so you get free hits in, they have longer range than roaches so you have more things attacking at once and if you morph a low HP one it gets full HP so you basically get 2 health bars on your unit
When you make you make the opponent micro away from the biles, the units running are not attacking, and the enemy player is busy microing the units
They're also available at hatchery tech, so if you're going for a roach push before lair, you can use them to make your army better as well as heal up your roaches when you upgrade to ravager. They're like a proto-hydra. They're also not armored, so if you make marauders to counter roaches, ravagers will survive a bit better. The bile is an alternative to a baneling bust for knocking down walls or hitting stationary units like tanks, libs, and overloards, or forcing units to move instead of shooting, like void rays. Sometimes, your opponent doesn't micro away, so it's a pretty low risk, high reward skill check.
Zerg is just excesive ahead from the other 2 factions, i dont know why zerg dont get nerfed.
Well, I think you missed out the fact that Serral make Zerg looks op. Watch other Zerg players like Scarlett, Eleazer and Rogue, their play styles are really different from Serral and more inferior and a bit mundane compared to him. So many Zerg players other than Serral got kicked in the a$@ by Terran and I don’t think you should complain about Zerg not being nerfed.
@@atrudokht Actually if both players are at the same lvl, and constantly one wons, It means one race is up to others, also at time of fight and expand zerg had It faster easier, and whit units much much more usefull that protos or terran had.
@@christianmeleirogomez9153 real (im zergphobic), for example baneligns needs to be nerfed, or even deleted, because they just roll and deals massive splash damage, while terran and protos units needs to be constantly managed to spread, which makes it a lot harder

Serral style is wasteful on resources. Yes he is ahead on mining but his resource efficiency is quite wasteful.

as a fellow lowko enjoyer i try and find it entertaining instead of cringe when he gets english wrong, but in this case you're not even talking about an english word, its one of the oldest words in existence and there are multiple correct ways to say it... but i still feel your sentiment, when he does patch reviews and laughs and ridicules words used i'm like dude...that word is totally normal and not pronounced the way you seem to think but it's not your fault english isn't your first langauge.
