Tendulkar made it look as if the ball did not bounce.This isn't solely my opinion, the whole commentary box suggested that the ball was actually made to look like as if it hadn't bounced. That they ignore, it was a wicket due to unusual low bounce of the pitch rather than bowler's excellence.
Infact tendulkar's reaction is testimony to this fact. he tried to lower his bat quickly and fell in this process.
Although asif was a excellent bowler.
Time and again Pakistan keep bringing in fast bowlers who were and who are exemplary. Right from Wasim Akram to modern day Shaheen Afridi... They have been all class.

No other bowler in this world used to set up trap to dismiss one of finest batsman of the the world like Asif used to do in Test Cricket.
McGrath and Shan Pollock were deadly acurrate in terms of line and length. But the way Asif used to fool greatest of Batsman was just unbelievable. Batsman almost had no clue in which direction the ball would seam. He could move the ball in both direction with out changing his action.Very hard to read.

A Sad end to a wonderful bowler. One gets heart broken to see such a telent wasted to a controversy. They were also punished more than they had done . 7 years was a lot.
