@Stew W : Buddy I don’t think you know much about basketball. First of all potential means their highest ceiling. Their highest ceiling is final four with that talent they have. Kofi has great footwork for his size. They are only 4 games in. They played a Baylor team who I think will win it all this year....... and they stuck with them till the last 4 minutes. Yes maybe they turn the ball over in stretches but they force them too. They make shots and have hard working guys. I’ve watched every game of there’s this year. So yes, they have Finar four POTENTIAL.

On defense Kofi needs to let the offensive player he is guarding commit to his shot before he leaves his feet. He is being faked out to often. Also, he needs to block the shot and control the rebound not spike it out of bounds.
I think the BIG 10 and the BIG 12 are the best conference this year, The big 12 has 5 teams in the top 25 and Baylor being number 2. 3 in top 10. Big 12 I think will get at least 7 out 10 to go the big dance. Baylor Kansas West Virginia Texas Texas tech OU and Oklahoma state currently 5-0. Leaving out Kansas state TCU and Iowa state

Honestly don’t see Duke winning a chip anytime soon and this is from a longtime fan... We have a hard time getting those influential and important upperclassman. They either transfer or are gone by sophomore season. Get your money in all for it. Experience wins in college besides the Anthony Davis anomaly’s.

I think Coach K is dirty on that end, but I also think there is something else too, something darker and morally repugnant about him. Can't put my finger on it, I just know his true nature is predatory.

No such thing as home court advantage this season...wonder if the same outcome occurs with a packed house
It may have made it a closer game, but with how poor duke played and how well Ilinois played, I doubt the outcome would have been different. Illinois was rolling from tip-off to the final buzzer while duke couldn't even hit a 3 until 10 minutes left, and I don't think fans would have changed that too drastically. The MSU-Duke may have had the potential to change with fans though. I only say that though because Duke got ahead early due to absolutely shitty officiating for the first 10 minutes, but Duke may have been able to keep the lead they got from that with fans. It's a lot easier to keep momentum with fans, but they can't help you keep if you don't have any, which was a major problem for Duke against the Illini.
