  • In the practice of fertility it is extremely common that the current day clinicians typically use, the antagonist in order to ensure that a premature LH surge doesn't occur.
Often in patients with low AMH is concerned, a slide modification in the use of antagonist by reducing the doors can help the clinician achieve an excellent syncrony between the endometrium and the developing follicle. In this fertility master class Dr Jay Mehta has highlighted the use of half dose antagonist and it's practical applications for fertility practice especially in patients who are currently not willing for or planned for undergoing IVF cycles.
The half dose antagonist, doesn't affect the endometrium negatively in any manner as well as allows for the endometrium to catch up when it is deemed necessary in order to ensure equivalent outcomes for patients who have a low AMH
