Off topic, but I just walked into my island’s restaurant and Pompom and Pierce are literally sitting together at a table and I’m just shook how they always find each other
Shino showed up at my campsite!! After I went hunting for her the day before. And she kicked out Beardo!!!! It was truly a miracle

So I have to thank you. The segment about working on your undergraduate really helped me personally. I'm someone who's late getting in the game and I honestly was having a struggle with how to move forward from where I'm at now. But you made clear sense, more sense than anyone else I've asked for advice in my life, and you gave clear reasons as to why it's a good idea. So, thank you. honestly, hearing you talk about how you started off as a vet tech makes me feel so much better. I went from zoology education to seasonal DNR cashier and now to kennel attendant. I've loved all my jobs, but i've been insecure about not being further along in my career, but hearing you talk about it seriously helps put things into perspective. Thanks!

On the conservation discussion: when looking at undergraduate colleges, look for ones that offer student research opportunities. It's a good way to get experience and credits for doing it. When applying for grad schools they look much more at your experience over having perfect grades.
And a "hack" for undergraduate research opportunities: go to school that does NOT have a grad program in that area. The professors will likely to be more dedicated to the undergrad research than if they are also supervising Masters or PhD students.
If you’re getting too many repeat villagers you can reset the switch’s cache and the villager rotation will reset. System > Formatting Options > Clear Cache

I'd love to go for some of the new villagers but I spent ungodly numbers of tickets to get an all-cat island in tribute to Freddie Mercury, who loved cats (my island is Mercuria, though that's about as far as the theme goes, lol). I'd consider starting again but the update is a lot more fun with millions of bells, hahaha. Thank you for being the relaxing end to my day that I need! And congrats on Shino! :)

Shino was actually one of the three villagers that moved into my island back at the start along with Boomer and Jambette (who I want to get rid of) and Shino has become one of my favorite villagers
Meanwhile, I have Shino working as a kitchen assistant in the restaurant on my archipelago and Diana running the local witches' coven. ;)

Wicked is such an amazing play. I remember when my best friend and I were in 10th grade and he went to see it.
He loved it so flipping much and I think that's the play thar has helped shape him into the amazing theatre buff he is now. He even brought me back a shirt which was really nice and a happy memory.

Have you heard of the bower birds? The males build a structure for the mate, and they decorate it with colorful items. It is so wholesome (unless it doesn’t work i’d never recover)
