This was such a perfect little documentary. I'm also fascinated by them when they fly around my home in Arizona. I've never seen their eggs or the chicks. They're just so stinkin' cute! Thanks for sharing.

Very nicely made. In my area you often see them roosting in the middle of a hiking trail at night. Lol they’re very charismatic but will scare the pants off of you at night. Their eyes glow red in the light of a headlamp and they wait until you’re very close and then fly away… by your face.

Omg I love this video and how you caught their adorable ness on film!!
I do wish you would’ve included their predatory response.
They do this distracting ritual where they almost look wounded, and scream.
That’s the other part, it’s open mouth is impressive, and not what you’d expect.
Since they catch food by flying through the air, they have this super wide mouth
Oh, and I have some pictures and footage from last year. We had a few nest around my old job. I’d love to share it to you, nothing has been posted
