i have worked with apple people as a coder , i was a contract employee but my reporting manager was direct employee of Apple and we worked on a core business project for apple, these people are just average people , nothing so fancy about them, they do love apple products a lot , but nothing like extraordinary , even i remember one of my teammates insulted the manager in a bad way and the manger became angry and decided not to attend meeting
Apple is now becoming like ferrari whose motive is to hire people who are passionate about the brand. Sucks that ferrari is more of a lawsuit than a car company
That actually good for management because if you dont know skill ur team works on then you are like a mad king giving order and not the prime Minister or captain. I stilm dont understand how HR and managers have right to decide a candidates fate
This is an interesting way to weed out excel sheet managers. The idea that management as a standalone skill is valuable enough to hire makes no sense to me.
Yes apple hires very differently, they hired from my college, they hired 7 creative people, all of them girls. Not saying they should not hire girls, but clearly that's what they came to the college for.
Not really, this is very generic information. They mostly hire internally, and interview processes are completely tailored to the role. Liking or not liking the mac doesn’t really help. They also hire very specifically, do not over or under hire.
Direct managers really spoil the company. I am giving this statemnt after working for 20 years and seeing 10 companies, inside out. I am ground up and well learned manager
That's a great approach to hire people bcoz a person with enough qualifications can't serve a company until he loves too.... so varun can u hire me as a intern though i dont have enough qualifications but loves AVALON LABS😅😅😅
That's why apple is the world's most valuable company in terms of valuation and human assets It can be a joke but there front sales people in stores are MBA,PhD holders what more anyone can expect 😅
So does that mean I can't apply to Apple just because I don't have computer background but what if I have done certificate courses on programming and other components of computer
so apple love to hire rich people only because in any country apple us still expensive and apple i mac or MacBook whatever those are crazy expensive too... so no room for actually talented mid-range guy. but in innovation and workflow mid range guys are best
Hardly few updates in software and done I think we are losing the steve jobs era of innovation almost 80% of phones today are identical with similar features the companies have applied harmons process strategy matrix to make their phones in China, Chips in Taiwan software from America
