As it should be, at least for WIDE OPEN shots. No way I should be able to miss wide open 3's with a 95 three ball, when my defender is playing like crap. Unless I time it terribly of course
The buff to wide open shots is gonna be more crazier than people think.. 2k labs came out and said 65-82 have the same 3ball so with that buff people will definitely be greening with a 60 3 with ease
I am a 7’3 center with a 78 middy and a 73 three point and can make 3s but hopefully it makes it easier for me

Check 2k labs. They did a test with 3pt attributes. The higher the attribute, better chance to hit. Stop spreading misinformation
@@oBordox we don’t care as long as the game is fun and I can make consistent shots off the skill of me knowing my timing on my jumper. Let’s not complain about the game being easy at all after this point,

I do floaters…but i had to stop because they nearly never go in when you are further from the goal when it would be logical to avoid a big in the paint

They finally made the banner plate colors match what your city progression chart is at, no more orange and red and shit now back to last year plate colors

I don’t care about anything but having a consistent jumper. If I can’t control my shooting and dribbling I’m not playing this game. I play this basketball game to play basketball not to use spaceships and rockets and go buy things in a du rag store, if I can’t play basketball and have fun I’m not playing this game.
The Shooting this year is ridiculous. I was 55% percent from 3 last year no way I’m getting there this year. The people that think otherwise do nothing but play 2k all day.

It’s an issue wit Rec now! After you finish a game you can’t exit the lobby.
It immediately loads or keep players in and starts the game.
Happens every update this happened in 24 too

Playing after the patch I noticed that you have to flick the right stick much faster than before when doing combo moves and when doing the explosive behind the back. If you go too slow you just get normal size up animations

Am I the only one who has a problem dunking I swear everytime I try to stick dunk this game got me doing a euro step and getting blocked. Not fun to be sure.

The ball attachment is a patch for the strip from behind or far side going up for dunks when driving, ball attachment is just their funny way of saying ball staying attached to the player vs it coming out with the strip, I feel like it’ll be more like when we had the strip badge in 23 or 22 where if it’s not well timed or done it’ll result in either a layup animation or you dunk through it anyways considering players strength and dunking attributes

The timing algorithm is terrible. I feel as if I'm timing everything great, then it's slightly early/late and slightly slow/fast, with one of them being excellent. I myself have been a square button user for over a decade, and I just don't think this whole green window is a great look for a skill gap because I don't think the meter has been the best feature since it's introduction in 2K15. The system in 2K12-14 should have never been touched or replaced. It worked super well. We guessed if the ball went in, then, but now we're guessing with every shot we take.

I’m in the paint hands up dead in front of somebody, and they’re getting bad no timing standing layups no problem.
3 games in a row now. I don’t have the feedback on for other people but I’m all over them and it’s like I’m not there
I just jump at everything now and try and time it right
Shooting wide open definitely feels easier, but the biggest issue is that it still has the obvious algorithm that makes you miss.
I couldn't tell you how many games i've lost by a couple of points, where the algorithm directly caused the outcome.
I've had multiple games where i was like 3/4 or 6/8 (I have 99 3pt).
Then it was like a switch flipped where I couldn't shoot even wide open for a couple shots, and my shot speeds were DRASTICALLY different. It's like i was forced into an insane shooting slump after missing one shot (which i was forced to miss). Today alone i had 2 games where i was 3/3 from 3pt and the 4th shot was a VERY EARLY, to the point where it almost air balled. Kinda like when you enter the MyCourt and it forces your first shot to miss by "very early".
They didn’t touch wide open shots though. Only Open shots which is when a defender is close enough to contest but doesn’t have hands up.

The “very early” thing was in 2k24 me and my friends just call it the red glitch where it will just makes you red of like a latency lag or something

I’m only upset because I’m tired of being scammed out of my money, I’m not a content creator, I have a regular job. If I’m going to spend money on a build catered to the current gameplay that is supposed to be the gameplay of a “finished game” I’m not new to 2k by any means, but 2K is more blatantly scummy more than ever. These issues would not be an issue if they truly had passion for the game they released, I don’t consider myself a casual, but I’m tired of the bullshit, 2K needs to start refunding VC after completely changing the games a month into it.
Lastly, this isn’t a W, the community needs to stop taking these little bits and pieces as a “win” because 2k25 cost 70$ and to be honest, it isn’t a 70$ game, nothing is going to change until they stop making money.

Can someone confirm if this patch is coming out season 2? I know you can doenload it but in previous years the update wouldnt kick in til the next season. Cause theres some people saying this and that is fixed but something else still isnt fixed.

That close shot post fade is the most broken thing since old 2k hook shot
the animation "combo moves" is drastically changed. (without holding turbo, flicking the right stick left to right and vice versa would trigger your "combo moves" ( mine is zach levine) Now its not working
I think hands down against a jumpshot should still register as tightly contested but hands down against a layup at the rim should be register as open

In play now online they seriously have to Nerf the unstoppable layups. Make shooting something you can actually have even a little bit of confidence in too. And make it impossible to make a shot when the defenders hand is in your face. Playing it really makes you think that they dumbed it down for the bad players to keep up.

I have 75 strenght on my 6'2 (92 PD). Definitely worth put strenght on small (or any) builds

Floaters will help alot of layup builds i have 90 driving layup and was missing wide open floaters with hof float game and trifecta takeover.

How bout we buff slashing. Why am I getting dragged out of dunk animations with no foul. Why am I laying the ball up in situations when I should be dunking. Layups are slow as hell. I’m getting stripped from behind due to glitch out strip animations. The dunk meter rarely works because there’s 20 different animations with the analog stick
The open shot buff is just “open” shots not wide open it’s to maintain balance on the contest system itself is what I get out of it
I was shooting way more consistent I played 3 games and shot 70 percent from 3 it felt great

I like real hoops gameplay. We all are suiting up with 95 overalls. If dude leaves me open I wanna hit my shots. I’m 26 now I work 50 hour weeks man if I’m open I wanna hit my shot. I’m not talking every single time but like when you got little kids who got all the time in the world glitching double screens and shooting smothered threes because they practice all day it’s just corny. I like real hoops!

Floaters are still viable but there’s a skill gap now. You have to time it right almost like a jumpshot

Pure green window on wide open shots is all I want if it’s contested there should be some type of rng cause of challenger and perimeter defense vs 3 pt rating deadeye etc. but other than that everything sounds good gotta play.
