Jan Oosthof, een van mijn trompet helden. Ik zal Jan altijd herinneren als een van de beste lead-trompettisten die Europa (en ver daarbuiten) mocht hebben.

Very interesting. Thanks for the subtitles! I've loved looking back at James Last's concert videos and am interested to learn more about the musicians behind the sound. So this was perfect!

I will say it. Unfortunately I hope I am wrong. However it seems very suspicious that nothing has been re-released, new archive materials releases, or any communication about any plans from Christine, Family, and/or Polydor. After 8 years I would have certainly hoped to hear something. But I think trouble is afoot in the Hansi household.

It depends on who holds the copyrights on the recordings of the james' last orchestra . I would guess it's his recird company polydor . I bet you too they dont see a market for new releases of older albums, etc .
I know from listening to the members of the smaller rock bands i like speak , the way a record company sees things, and the way fans see things are very different .
Not to mention, the expense of having to re press and remaster older revordings may not be worth it to acrecord company.
