Boise is the capital city of Idaho. The Boise River Greenbelt is a series of tree-dotted trails and parks hugging the water's edge. In an art deco building, downtown’s Boise Art Museum has contemporary works and an outdoor sculpture garden. The grand, sandstone Idaho State Capitol Building is nearby. The Old Idaho Penitentiary contains 19th-century prison cells and gallows, plus historic military weaponry.

Boise looks very clean and quiet, a nice small city. I can't wait to visit my brother there when I can travel out of state again.

As someone whos lived in Boise for 95% of my life it's not small, it's not quiet. In fact reminds me more of Los Angeles

Sure missed a lot of the city by going round and round... same streets/blocks over and over... but what a beautiful day for a drive. Maybe look at a map and plan a route next time?

Its not like I remember it 30 years ago. Now too many out of state people moved here in the last 5 years. They brought the bad with them. Streets are starting to get trashy. Drivers are like speed demon California and trash dumping Oregon and Crack smoking Colorado. Even the senseless Pennsylvania and the always gotta be up front Utah drivers. It used to be 65 on the freeway, now it's 85 everywhere. People give you the finger and crash when there's only a dusting of snow.
Its not what it was. Most natives are moving outward from town. Home prices are through the roof! Anyway. I'm done ranting. I feel better now lol.
