I JUST fnished a Christmas stocking (a gift, oh my) but I was sick. Did ONE "flower" each day. Then putting it together, I was over thinking, but it is really easy (ask my hubby!).. I am SO proud of my results and THANK YOU for you excellent guidance!

Great video. Has anyone added a lining to their stockings after finishing? To fill the gaps and prevent tiny items from falling through? If so, how did it look, and what material and technique have you tried?

Do you have to start a new piece of yarn to sew each hexagon together?

Can they be done in 2 sets of colors and can you sew them together as you make them to make it easier?
+Julie Leasure I've made 3 of them so far. I suppose you could sew them together as you go but I wouldn't. It's much easier to follow Mikey's example. It gets really tricky once you get to the foot part.

Well. That little tidbit about the D/E/F hex would have been super handy to know BEFORE. Why wouldn’t they put that in the directions? Ugh. 🙄🤦🏻♀️
