So did I on my P1 S40, Bilstein shocks, Sachs coils, and Meyle HD bushings, rods and control arms .. the only bushings I skipped replacing were those of the rear trailing arm, and I regret that 😠 they're definitely worn out but replacing them is a huge hassle. I'll have to gather up some courage and get them done. I've already bought the special tool.
Y'all got 3 C30 owners in the office now??!! Does that mean more P1 sales? :) Just picked up the last few goodies for my C30's suspension refresh both excited and dreading the install, lol.
Mike lives in fear of anti-seize , Ceramic paste not only lasts as long and protects, but also wont follow you and your family around for 3 weeks after using it.
Im currently looking for a facelift c30. This vid made me a bit more confident on buying a c30 as long as u dont do something like this on a p3 v60 lol
This is amazing. I wish it had been done last year when I did mine!! ;) One question that I hope someone at FCP can answer is about that foil-like heat shield around the whole rear of the exhaust. Mine is starting to fall apart (MI winters...) and I CAN'T find any part number or a decent description for those. Thank you!!!
- what did you use on the inside of clamp for strut? Is that the ceramic paste/anti seize? - does one not need a spring compressor to remove coils on these struts?
Love the videos but Meyle? For real😢 6:00 in Europe we just use 400+ mm pipe wrenches to deal with it. You have all the space around and use 250mm knipex.
Looking to buy a coilover kit for my 2008 c3, what options don't dramatically lower the height. I have a body kit that makes the car seem more lower than it is
Been a FCP customer for a while. I want to get this done on mine but there is no way my cousin will do it. Anyone know how much the labor for this goes for?
I know you can slow down the video, or pause, nevertheless it would be useful to have some shots without hands being in the way, zoomed out& in so you can see the stuff better. Even for marketing reasons, pause to show each new replacement part in detail. I like the older FCP camera jobs a bit better. Personally as a customer, I would appreciate more educational approach over the entertainment. Great job nevertheless, thanks.
We still have our other channel full of step by step DIYs and guides, and will continue to make that content type into the future! Appreciate the feedback, and you watching the new stuff too.

I did all this on my P1 S40 a couple of years ago. Complete car transformation! I’m so happy with it. Also I’m glad I don’t live in the rust belt. 😂

Just picked up a c30 manual
Keep the p1 content coming!
If this isn't a sign , I don't know what is!

They keep multiplying! You saw how rusty and rough this was, you've got it!
@@fcpeuro-media Don't think mine is as rusty but a lack of tools and a lift will level the playing field ;D
Done this on 3 c30s now. Wonderfully fun cars
Underrrated !
thank you so much for posting this I started doing coilovers on my c30 a week ago and this video has saved my ass.
Woooh!
@@fcpeuro-media I can't even begin to communicate how crucial this video was in retrospect
Awesome stuff, would love to see the same with an 850 :)
We have this but waaaaaayyyyyy more on our 850 Project series!
My 240K mile 08 C30 and I both feel attacked... ;-)
🤣sorry- ish
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Curious why ceramic paste and not anti-seize? (For both the strut and tie rod)

@@fcpeuro-media ok thanks. !

Yeah same, I'm trying to revive my c30 and make it a sport car
Great
Recommend SilverProject adjustable camber plates for front when using coil overs with Flat top springs
Camber plates were on the list, totally agree!
Tried to get a line on some of the tools used during the install. Tough to do. Would appreciate a link. Thanks!

is "Volvo Nut - Genuine Volvo 987885" in the parts listing used as a substitution for the Meyle Control Arm ball joint nut?
Would this be very similar to an s60??
Looking to buy a coilover kit for my 2008 c3, what options don't dramatically lower the height. I have a body kit that makes the car seem more lower than it is
I have an r design so slightly lowered anyway. Will these shocks lower it further? ( i dont want to lower it further).
Thanks, tom
I need to do a complete job on my e60. Do you guys have a complete parts list so that I can make sure I get everything needed?
We have comprehnsive suspension kits made for your E60, but we've linked a parts list above to reference what we put on this car!
while you are at it :) can we replace the wheel bearings, pads/rotors? 😀
Thats for the next sale 😄

How does one find themselves employed at FCP?
careers.fcpeuro.com of course!
Just ordered the KONI FSD kit but it wasn't included in the sale, so not everything is included in the sale....
Ah ya most things with MAP pricing we are unable to discount - the Bilsteins used in this video were allowed to be used with out Coupon code though!
At least it has the larger front calipers
Small (big) win there!
Of course that uga-duga-gun needs to be used to torque down nuts and bolts :V
We were in a rush....... 👀
