News for these dingbats, but I just dropped off the third GE Profile after the first two were dysfunctional JUNK.... The online and phone tech was clueless about what to do, but THEY were aware the units are rife with problems and errors..... The third replacement unit was stuck in Defrost..... BEST BUY would NOT take the first unit back, GE sent the next 2 replacements.... JUNK..... With BEST BUY NOT refunding me, and GE with their finger in their ear, American Express withheld payment and I recorded the dropping off of the units to BEST BUY...... DO NOT JUNK this GE JUNK...... t
My first GE Profile Opal (Original) stopped working within a year. Luckily I had purchased it with AMEX and was able to take advantage of the warranty replacement. They refunded me the entire purchase price which I ended up using towards the 2.0. Let’s see if this one works any better.
