    hey i´m a mechanic and i can tell you that most bike stores are having too much work this year, even now we are booked up until november. i´ll guess that might be the same at your dealer, so if you want to fix these two issues by yourself here you go. 1: to tape down your handlebartape, just use regular electrical tape and 2: to be able to shift down, there are two little screws on the derailleur. one is for the high gear and one is for the low gear. try to shift down and then loosen the L-screw with a 2mm inbus key. if the derailleur is moving down, your chain should also follow. if that doesn´t work, you might wanna try loosen the shift cable. normally there should be a thicker piece of plastic on the outside of the shifting cables. if you turn it to the left it tensions that cable and if you turn it to the right it will loosen it. so if your shifting cable is to tight your derailleur wouldn´t go down until you loosen it up a little. hopeully it all makes sense, cause i´m from germany :D

    I know you mentioned the modes in the comments I bought mine used noticed that there were four modes just looking to see in which order they were. It looks like there’s a light blue or white mood a green, blue and purple. Thanks for the help you have on them.

      White is off, green is lowest mode then blue and the purple is the maximum assistance. I hope that answered your question!

    Just an FYI I got my partner a new bicycle from specialized in Australia, we had the exact same issue and they fixed it free of charge. The bike was perfect when we did the fitting, then when we took it home same issue as you, as it turns out the kids enjoy turning the adjustment screws when left unsupervised (same might have happened to yours) I hope they took good care of you!! Shame they won’t let you have the assist up to 28mph like here in the US. That 20-28mph window is more real world useful and more fun, too. I’m very impressed that little motor puts out 60nm, that’s very good.

    We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

    thanks for the informative vid, i ordered a MTB Trek Powerfly 4 they say might be ready by April, but after watching this vid, this will be my next buy. I think I like this better than the Specialized Turbo Creo since the battery is removable for cold weather i can keep it in the house and not take the whole bike for storage just like the Powerfly. I'll go with the HP since that one can assist up to 28 mph (class 3) since group rides are averaging 25 so 20mph limit is not enough. Otherwise I'll be left out when it's flat because our analog bikes are much lighter. Saving.

    • @kian_zandi
      @kian_zandi  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I can only tell you from little experience since I only rode it once for about 15 minutes but I found it had more power than the LT. But I find that for such a light road bike where you also want to exercise on the LT with the Fazua motor is more than enough. The fact that it’s lighter and can be used without power or the battery can be removed completely is another bonus

    Hey nice review but theres no way u can charge the bike with the battery/motor in it right? And is it really necessary to unlock the bike with the key to turn it on? Is it also possible to add a rear rack to the seat post because its not made out of carbon? Those racks which are just attached to the seat post. Thanks :)

    • @kian_zandi
      @kian_zandi  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! Yeah to charge the battery you have to take it out of the bike but I find that not to be a problem since I leave the bike in the garage and bring the battery inside anyways. To turn it on you just have to press the power button on the top BUT if the bike has been sitting for over 8 hours then you need to unlock it with the key to press the power button on the batter itself. Definitely a little annoying but it takes about 5 seconds so not such a big deal. They just released a new battery now which is compatible with all bikes that use the old battery. The new one doesn’t require you to unlock the bike anymore to turn it on after 8 hours. The seat post is made out of carbon so I would not use one of those racks but there are mounts on the rear for a rack. Don’t think I’d put more than 10kg on the back though just to be safe.

    • @echlol
      @echlol 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kian Zandi nice thanks. So the new batterys are now all like that? So u dont need to unlock it first after 8h non usage? Are u sure that those mounts are for a rear rack? I saw on the site that the bike is mudguard ready but I dont find anything about a rack mount. :)

    • @kian_zandi
      @kian_zandi  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure if the new bikes are already coming with these new batteries but yes there is no need to turn them on again after 8 hours. They will be available to purchase from Fazua directly in November. They also released a battery bag that attaches to the top tube so that you can carry an extra battery when riding. Oh and it’s half the weight too! I know on the website they don’t say anything about it being compatible with racks but the guys at the bike shop told me that with the mounting points I’d be able to put a small rack on the back

      Of course it also depends on what assistance level I run it at but on the lowest level which is what I usually use I would say around 120km and on the middle level around 80km. But I’m over the speed at which it assists for a lot of that time as well so it’s not with constant assistance.

      Im not sure where you’re located but in Europe it is limited due to regulations. In North America as far as im aware it’s not restricted and can assist at higher speeds. What I’ve noticed, as I ride it a lot also without the assist activated, is that with the same amount of power I average 25-30km/h without assist but 40-45km/h with assist activated. It’s been so fast that sometimes I have to stop pedalling when I’m on some bike trails because the speeds are too high. I’m not sure how that’s possible when it’s supposedly limited to 25kmh but I would say don’t let that turn you away because even at 40+ you still feel it assisting even if it’s less that at lower speeds

      On a flat surface I’ve got it up to a little more than 50 km/h. But of course I want able to hold that for very long haha
