Happy owner of a 2017 c63s coupé edition one. (With the yellow strips) I'm smiling every time I open my garage. What a BEAUTY and that sound is just the best sounding v8 imo. And one of the best sounding engine to me
@@zhouxia I have it since like 6 months, I'm going to do my first maintenance in two weeks. I will tell you the cost if I remember but pretty sure its not that much. Appart from that, it depends a lot how you drive it. I work at home so I don't do a lot of kilometers but know one this if you're going for this car : it drinks gas quite a LOT. If you're going to use it as a daily and making like 50 km per day, be prepared to put at least 500 bucks per month of gas. Unless you're driving like a grandpa but you don't buy those cars for that. I personally put 200/250 per months and I'm only doing at max 800 kilometers per months. Tires can be quite expensive too. I use ps4s michelin, 285,30,zr20 at the rear I changed them for 300.- each. And again depends on how you drive it but they does not last long if you're often speeding. Edit : the breaks costs a lot too. So here's an advice. If you're not going to a track and purely going to use it as a daily or as a week end car, take an used one with the carbon ceramics ! You will most likely never change the break discs because they last pretty much longer than the lifespan of the car. You will have to change only the plates but they're not expensive.
@@Bycer hey dude you re still here ? So ive done my first maintenance some time ago, it costed me 1450 bucks (im from switzerland) There is two service, one big and a little one. This is the best sounding European V8. For me it's even better than 6.2 V8, which sounds too raspy and loud. 4.0TT sounds dark deep and turbos sniffing make it heavenly good.
I prefer the 5.5 biturbo M157 of the W212. That sounds like the perfect blend of 6.2 V8 and 4.0 TT. If there was an exhaust sound of the devil it would be this ;)
@@StefBelgium Hi, this is on my other account. Yes we have a 2017 AMG C63s so without the electric motor. The 2017 model is much better as it has a much better and more aggressive sound as it is much louder, also not 2 liter instead its a 4 liter V8 so much more of a beast. But thanks for the compliment!
Always liked these, and this is a beautiful example, nice colour. For a large, heavy, 4 door, it's pretty fast, although for almost 600bhp, the weight holds it back a lot. I'm not a big fan of the interior, it's a bit too chinzy for me, but I'm sure most people would love it. Everything else I really like, lovely car.
I love mine but cars are getting heavier instead of lighter. My old Subaru P1 was 1250 kg with a forged 400bhp engine and would leave my C63s standing. I would need at least stage 2 and 780bhp to keep up. The C63 has a lot of torque and very comfortable at high speeds unlike some cars.
Flashing lights on the rear license plate? I had never seen it. And without ceramic brakes with stage 1... LOL. I love interior dashboards, modern digital screens are not necessary. And the sound of AMG 4.0 V8 BiTurbo... Hmmm!
That cover in the back at the exhaust should be black black or blue, cant have grey details on a car like this xD Mine is still at the dealership, unpaid tho ;)
2:15 Whats with all that creaking going on in the interior? I knew the c class of this gen was notorious for its creaky plastics but i was not expecting it to be this bad
It IS creaky as F. I have one of those too, a coupe ed 1 from 2017 and its so creaky, a shame actually but thank god with the engine sound when you re pushing you dont hear anything. Also if you re driving chill just a little bit a music will hide them
Amazing engine, but unfortunately the ride quality of these models is really bad. The W205 is known to have a lot of creaks and interior rattles, and the AMG suspension is making it even worse. As can be heard in this video, constant creaking in the interior. This is really the lowlight of this car, and it becomes quickly annoying when you are passed the excitement of the engine and the sound.
I noticed in mine that when the weather is hot, it becomes absolutely silent. But yeah the crackles are annoying af. But if you're listening a bit of music you will not heard them
Nice car.. the only thing i hate about newer AMG's is their sound. They dont have that distinct mercedes sound anymore. Too much crackle and burping sounds.
No Offense but 7,8sec 100-200 seems slow for me, C63S Sedan pre OPF are running around 7,9-8,3 Stock. Stage 1 about 6,5-7sec The Coupe a little slower because of the more Weight.
I have a c63s which I have taken from stock to stage 1 and stage 2+. My car went from 7.99s stage 1, to 7.2s stage 2, to 6.7s stage 2+ (intakes) at about 24 degrees ambient temperature. Fuel quality is a big issue and it severely limits timing if not good fuel, I personally have had 50hp difference between fuels and temperature on the dyno. Also gearing is a bit of an issue with the long gears, it doesn't do well compared to bmw 8 speed or mercedes 9 speed.
@@MatthewJohnson-fj2bq was ur stage 1 ECU Tune? Just Software? Yeah ur right Fuel is vey Important, im only Using Ultimate 102 Fuel. Is the new 9G so much better than the old 7G Tronic?
Those turbochargers hide too much the beautiful sound of the V8. Nice car though! I do prefer the C63 over an M3 from a style perspective, but performances wise, the M3 is the best.
Performance wise the newest m3, since like 2018 or 19 are better. The previous gen m3/m4 were not faster than the c63s pretty confident about that ! Also this one sounds better than the n/a v8 even if its less loud
