Surprised you got on. So often not working. And, when on, view from the new boats is almost non-existent unless get put of car and walk around. The old small ferries ran much more frequently with fast turnaround times and views were amazing because control tower was central above deck. Used it in cars, on bicycles, and on feet from mid 1983 till recently including every day for a few years. Still would use it occasionally but usually not working so take Tunnel. The new high sided ferries seem to catch the wind from south west so reduced to one boat or both cancelled more than in past
