After the first drop you almost feel like you are upside down. The rocking back and forth is crazy and with 4 people we went so fast on the sides that I almost was up side down in the slide. Just went on it today it's so fun

YESS went on it a year ago and it was SO fast almost upside down
I just rode that slide last month. You'd be amazed how disorienting one can get while in there. Definitely a unique addition although I personally would've built it to the right side of the indoor waterpark near Triton so Huck's Lagoon and nothing else inside the waterpark would have to be removed. Does anybody know why the two indoor body slides were removed by the way?
No but I think it was to make space for the slide wheel
@@Angie-en8cb No that can't be possible because the wall that served as the front of the indoor waterpark before the slidewheel was built is still there meaning those two slides weren't in the way of the slidewheel at all.

I rode this about 2 months ago and going to ride it again a few times next week definitely one of my favorite rides of all time it looks so terrifying when you are walking up to it just looks like your going to do all this crazy stuff but then you get on it and your heart is racing and you start it and it is just an amazing experience I was so scared to go one it for the first time then I got done with it and just wanted to do it 100 times over it was so much fun and if your in the dells I recommend this slide
Now this is a story all about how this slide got flip turned upside down
That looks so much fun, and I'm happy it's in the indoor water park, so you can ride it in the winter, definitely going to ride this the next time I go to the Dells.
I went inside it, it was really fun
I don’t get freaked on on rides easily but this is terrifying because you’re literally trapped until it rotates enough. If anything happens on a normal slide, you can always easily just keep making your way down until you exit. On this, you have zero control.

I was also there yesterday..... its funny to listen to all the screams as your floaty approaches the slide.. sound like we are about to get sent to the slotterhouse hahaha very cool ride
@@Pochitoo I remember the line closed for it and no one was in the line but (the whole park was closing) you can hear the people screams inside the slide

My family stayed the weekend in the dells and rode this slide a few times it's by far the best water slide I've been on. At night time they turn on lights in the slide I didnt go down it when the lights where on but I did see it lit up and going I bet it's even cooler with the lights..

To anyone that is worried about getting stuck inside if the power goes out: they have hatches in all the sections of the slide. I've been on multiple times and saw at least 4.

I think so yes, it's handled in a similar way to a Ferris wheel and I'd think they'd have hatches too

They just leave the people in there until it's fixed

I found a video of a similar slide on FB, but in the Middle East, people complained, and people complained about the length of the ride and how it's a broken concept. For me, I live for the thrills of these rides, enjoying them for a while and giving you thrills you don't expect. The best rides are the ones that don't finish immediately imo.
Ie Mount Everest in Disney, sending you forward to a broken track and then backward.

When I saw this ride, I was thinking, “Are they insane?! This is basically the Cannon Ball Loop slide from Water World in Action Park from New Jersey all over again! How can a disaster not happen from this idea?!” Now after looking at the inside of the ride, it does look pretty fun. I’m still a little iffy about its safety though because one of the top comments in this video says that he was almost upside down once on the ride. I just really hope that the creators of this ride made sure that they designed it with the best calculations, and I hope they tested the slide way more than other slides would need to be tested.

I waited 15 min. But it can be up to 70+ min long
I just went on this last week, and it's so disorienting when you can hear people scream in there because it sounds like they're RIGHT behind you, and every time we slid into a new section I swore we were gonna flip😭

Mt Olympus owns the majority of hotel/motel space in the area. It’s a shame this couldn’t have gone to Noah’s ark or GWL or Kalahari or anywhere but there.

@@zerpie7050 no you wouldnt lol its slow turning so your body would slide back to ground as its turning just like with the raft. You wouldn't even feel it, what you are describing is if the slide was spinning fast. Physics.

Pretty sure someone “capsized” a few rafts before us. They have cameras inside, the ride stopped and the water emptied. Guards climbed up, fixed em up, left the Medusa and the show went back on.
