If u remember my early videos about a year ago, I will bring the drone very high altitude, more than 120 meters and that breaks the rules. It's a dangerous act and very poor behavior, to be honest. After joining the community, I've learned a lot. I mean lots lots of learning. Those days are passes and I'm happy to share videos that have a minimum of criticizing about my flying behavior. (Even not flying within VLOS also breaks the rules😅) And yeah, Mini 2 is still an impressive little beast, and always amazed evrybuddy including myself. It's ok to use dual-band frequencies when flying in this kind of area. However, when reaching the last tall building the connection will be lost for a moment. Looks like the controller needs a little bit of time to calculate the frequencies algorithm. After 10-20 seconds it will reconnect using the best frequencies. With 5.8 GHz, the drone is not having a hard time finding the best frequencies. It stays on the current 5.8 GHz and just maintains to stabilize the connection at its best. Well, that is what I've learned based on my experience. 😂

I flew at the same exact location so many times. Using 5.8 GHz is the best option with the best results. 😎✌
