Well, yeah, cause the husband left. They said in an interview before how none of them could do it on their own. Now she got left with the kids, and no one is listening to her. The patronising way he and Dr Phil speak to her, and the audience mob chimes in, is just heart-breaking. And they took her son away from her too? America is so rotten!

@@thisismetoday Her son wasn't safe with her. She recently lost parental rights of him; why do you think she lost him? Susan could have gotten her kids back any time by following the tasks needed for reunification, but she never did. And she was never alone-she had respite workers and her new husband in her videos. Regardless of whether or not Susan is to blame, she needed an intervention.
I need clozapine, depakote, and thorazine after listening to this lady for 2 minutes. Those poor, poor kiddos.
Don't worry. The kids were taken from her permanently and she had to delete her channel. She's only allowed supervised visits, Jodi was taken off her medications and no longer showing any signs of Schizophrenia. Unfortunately, after she turned 18 she moved back in with her mother and her mother is feeding her meds again and exploiting her on TH-cam. Bodhi is Autistic and is receiving proper care. He is in Foster Care and is doing much better. The father didn't want to take them in that's why they were placed in Foster Care.
Depakote alone is CRAZY strong. I was given it for seizures at age 28 and thought I was going insane. Hallucinating, falling asleep in the day, night terrors, I even wet the damn bed a couple times. I only took it for 3 months before I had to stop before I lost my mind literally. I can't imagine a child on it plus more! That's insane to me.
Yeah... and I need some bleach in my system ;-;
@@scarasara I quit taking it 3 months ago. I lost lots of hair, patchy scalp and beard, lost most of my eyebrows and eyelashes and started having a lot of trouble with digestion and also trembling. I'm now feeling much better and frankly I prefer my symptoms to Depoisonkote any day.
The thing that finally convinced me to stop taking it is that I learned it is being tested for cancer given its powerful antiproliferative effects.
Those effects may be very useful to save a life in case of cancer if a large dose is taken for a short time; but I was expected to take it twice a day for the rest of my life.
This amounts to asking someone to agree to lose their hair and see how their body generally cannot repair itself. I've always looked younger than my age and now I look older. I'm the youngest of my siblings but look/feel like the oldest one now. Things have improved these 3 months, though. My hair won't grow back, probably not even my eyebrows, but I feel better.
I'm so sorry for those kids who have a disturbed narcissistic mother with the clearest signs of a Munchausen by proxy syndrome I've ever seen on display, although I personally know of a less obvious case, it's always something dark and horrible.
There are millions of kids in the wrong hands now, and I'm certain that much of mental illness is actually due to bad parenting

Just so you know, the guy (Michael), who is supposed to also be there for them, got remarried and had a child with another woman and isn't even concerned about his other kids. He's just as shitty as she is.

I hope Bodhi is doing well in foster care. Sad Jani went back to her and now her mother is continuing to exploit her on her TH-cam channel. Prayers to those children, now young adults. Hopefully they can still lead somewhat normal and productive lives in least restrictive environments.

You can tell this woman loves the attention just by looking at her talk to the audience and not Dr. Phil. If she’s so worried about her children’s health she would be talking to Dr. Phil. But she wants the attention so she talks to the audience

I have never met anyone like her thank goodness. If she just actually listened she might get educated information but unfortunately she thinks that she is the cleverest in the room. Absolutely no help will be given to her children while she is in their lives because this is all about her getting attention

The mother is now trying to save her youngest from the system where he is now, on more medication than he ever was with Susan and now there is evidence of abuse. Just calm the farm and gently state "facts". Always remember if you are going to directly attack the people you know ie the parent of the child make sure that you speak clear facts and not from emotion. Then you can get the story out without you getting involved in a lawsuit by the Parent.
And...remember that there are 3 sides to every story. Hers, His and the Truth

I'm glad she lost custody of them The sad thing is that Jani chose to go back to her mother when she turned 18, she's been brainwashed by this woman for 17 years.
Yeah. You can see it in the more modern videos. Jani doesn't talk on her own anymore. Susan needs to probe her with questions constantly in order to get her to talk about it.

Now, understanding that she is bi-polar, it actually makes sense that she doesn't want the son to take his meds. I have family that is Bi-polar, and they stop taking their meds when they think they are fine, and the aren't. That's why my great aunt raised my cousin when her mom couldn't.
@J Mcd I see what you mean, but I don't think it is partly in cause of her own mental health, and J don't think she takes care of her own mental health, let alone be able to even process what her kids actually have and need. She is fairly delusional, and seems to live in her own world. J never ment to make it seem like what she was doing is okay, cause it is not, but I do understand her a bit better. She is definitely wrong, and shouldn't be around her kids if she can't so what professionals think is right, but I really don't think she realizes what she is actually doing to her son

Agreed. I also wouldn't be surprised if maybe her having her own mental issues could explain why she's had two kids so far that have been born with their own mental disorders. Mental health issues can be hereditary in some cases, so that would probably explain a lot in the case of this family.

It's such a shame that it happened to her after she and her ex-husband started documenting Jani's experiences of being born with child-schizophrenia. Part of me also feels like she's a bit traumatized to a certain degree by seeing Jani's struggles with her disorder early on before Jani got her official diagnosis. It's a nightmare that she's never going to allow herself to wake up from.
OMG she is so friggin Weird. She needs more help than her kids. She won't even let Dr Phil finish talking, she has a bad habit of interrupting.
She hits people wrong. She talks too much and interrupts. I would go nuts having to hear her all day...But, if your children had these illnesses and you had to live with this daily and being abandoned by the father who should be sharing care of these kids how would you survive?

Yes Jani talks to “things she sees” but that’s EXTREMELY common for people who have social issues to do, I do that due to my lack of social skills and friends so I have imaginary friends I talk to

Why is this woman so set on getting a diagnosis of schizophrenia for her son? So she can get a doctor to give him meds that would knock out an elephant, thus easing her burden as caregiver?
I couldn’t stand listening to this rude, overbearing woman on a daily basis. She’s not listening to Phil, she’s just waiting for the second that she can start pontificating again. And most of the time she just cuts in because she’s so eager to make her case again. Phil needed to tell her to shut up.

Hi local schizophrenic here- please don’t listen to her- my symptoms did not emerge into my late teenager. And this year was the first year I had full-blown psychotic episodes here and things feeling things the whole 9 yards. It’s unbelievably rare for kids to develop it so early. The only reason I did was A very prominent family history of it - my aunt my great aunt and my great great grandmother as well suffered from schizophrenia- and a Extreme traumas

Despite how long it’s been since this came out I still have strong opinions
1. Why would you bring up gun violence to say that mentally ill individuals are likely to be violent and “mental illness is first the guns come second” when if you look at different countries it’s far more common to hear of gun violence in America
2. Even if doctors were working under one, they still worked for years to get their degree.
3. It is insane to go to 50 doctors just to get a specific diagnosis. One would think 2 or 3 would be a definitive case
4. I don’t know what doctor would prescribe such a medication for a child but I bet it would be so the mother would stop harassing them.
5. Being bipolar does not automatically excuse the things you do. Mental illness is not meant to be a shield from you doing bad things.
6. Girl, they’re not cheering you saying you’re bipolar. They’re cheering your ex for standing up for his son (even if he didn’t continue to after this)

She told the operator she wanted to talk to Michelle Obama because her son, in her opinion, wasn't on the correct meds and she was sure Michelle would want to know this. Because, in Susan's opinion, one of the Obama girls was also schizophrenic. 😳

Professionals do NOT prescribe meds unless the patient NEEDS them! This isn’t the sixties. Meds for children are strictly regulated and doctors are routinely required to be checked in order to become recertified regularly. Unless you went to medical school to LEARN about what is known so far regarding mental illness, you have no right to dictate your opinion as fact!!
