Dino stone gates fit perfectly in the 4 gates going into the main structure of the Mayan temple looking thing. Also several trees around you can do a platform in as well.
Not sure if anyone already said it but their is a decent amount of crystals at the small castle with red flags. I’m building my base there and I found a cave right at the top of the side path leading up to the castle with the glowing orange crystals like in the other caves (non-harvestable) and the harvestable white crystal nodes.
24:14 That’s exactly where I built my base. I ended up not liking the pre-builds, I prefer to start from scratch. The desert is right across the water, plenty of access to metal, a fairly flat plain to build, and gigas spawn down the hill, but not close enough to target your base. The two cliffs that meet are visible from a long way away, so you can point yourself right to them when finding your way home. The only problem is that there really isn’t too close a spot to put water tames.
Its been a long time since i was on Lost Island so i decided to come back one last time and i've been looing for unique spot to build on so i keep checking all sorts of videos but none of the spots that were mentioned so far stuck with me so i guess im just gonna keep flying around on my Quetz platform mobile workshop until i find what im looking for asuming there is such a thing on Lost Island. So far it seems that Fjordur has best lakes of all maps.
The redwood castle is lacking in 2 major resources. Silica pearls and Obsidian. The place has plenty of Achatina's and Dung Beetles. It's central to the map which makes it a great base. Obsidian is abundant on the north side of the tall mountain just north of the base. I don't like the town area, as it's uneven and hard to build anything sizeable in. The walled-in inner area is perfect. The best way to take the redwood base is to get there.. put some stone doors in front of the towers to shut them off from the outside and make a small internal base. Get some pack animals, like raptors or dinopithicus, breed about 15 of them up, and put them on wandering and aggressive. They will make short work of anything in the inner area. Don't forget to use a behemoth gate to close off that inner area. You will have access to rare flowers, rare mushrooms, achatina's, dung beetles, sap, plenty of stone, wood, etc.. best location on the map.
Pearl Beach is straight down the river then east along the shoreline of the last big island before the ocean. All the pearls you will ever need a 2 minute Argy flight away.
I think its fun for people who like to play that way. I personally don't like them, because it changes the game too much. I like the official pve grind 😅
Playing in single player that build just west of that last spot, I think the beaver damns are broken in that last area as I have only found 2 and you are the 4th TH-cam who's mentioned that beaver damns are everywhere are there.
There are numerous differences in resource nodes on Single Player maps from online maps. You also have to be aware that on Single Player, nodes get broken, and will not respawn unless you do some crazy things (speeding up game time while sitting there, etc). You can’t really go by any videos that you might see.
how the hell is lighthouse 9/10 o.O and snow castle only 8 and redwood a 9, lighthose should not even be anywhere close to the rating of redwood or snow castles, better list would be lighthouse 2/10 the small jungle castle 1/10 jungle temples 4/10 or possibly 5 /10 snow castle 8/10-9/10 and ofc redwood castle 10/10 based only on those 5 spots
Man if these premade structures had snap points so you didn't have to put foundations down it would be super cool

There is obsidian in the cave under the waterfall. Darth missed it, but there are a few nodes in there.
What is your opinion on fiber craft servers
