I never think about using masking technique... It's great... thankyou, i get a new lesson. I love to draw car.. but in cartoon/caricature style. I will apply those technique on my rendering process...

This is really helpful to learn where should I put highlights! May I ask what key did you press at 1:05 to change the shape? I know command T can change the size, but I don't know how to change the angle of the graph. Thank you!

Zarathos unexpected the technique is the same for Photoshop and SketchBook Pro. But I will try in the future

Buy a few kilo clay and used geometrical tools and four Wheels integrated on scale...and good look....Photoshop is good only to improve actual existing car but for concept car You need some more complex.Good luck buddy

After creating a solid layer, in the layer panel, at 2.01 you do some clicking work on that solid layer's thumbnail and then suddenly that extra unwanted black area vanishes, even that thumbnail also changes and it merges perfectly with the existing black area.
I want to know is how you get that. I mean using which combination of shortcut key and the click or which command do you use to achieve that perfect merging of two layers???

i tried to imitate the way you create the path but it seems like the path tool behaves a bit different when i use it.
you create a sharp polygon shape, than add these points with handlebars between them. then you click and hold at the sharp corners to remove them and create a smooth curve between the handlebar-points. (1:50)
it seems like by holding the mouse button not only the point is removed but you are able to *instantly* adjust the curve. i see the handlebars changing in length.
heres my problem: when i click and hold basically the same happens but the difference is that i can only move the curve, the length of the handlebars wont change so i cannot really control the curvature or radius of the curve directly. i have to click at each handlebar endpoint and adjust its length manually after that. small difference but slows me down.
do you know what i am missing? iam using ps cs6 btw.
