The reason why organic extra virgin or virgin coconut or sesame is expensive compared to the normal refined ones are due to its processing method. Very minimal or rarely any heat is used in the virgin or extra virgin version to retain its nutrients; which is why its expensive. Hope this is clear for your enquiry on the difference Ramya

The night whitening creme/serum is from wild ferns & also the facial cleanser for removing makeup is manuka honey from wild ferns. The morning serum or lotion is from zo skin health daily power defense. coconut oil is from tribe concepts as mam @tharunikabalasubramaniam said.

Since I'm still WFH not using any products as of now...
Normal coconut oil is prepared from dry coconut (copparai) but virgin or extra virgin is prepared from coconut milk i think so only it cost too high i think so sis anyway your skin is glowing that because of your healthy lifetyle

Extra virgin coconut oil is derived by pressing actual fresh dry coconuts whereas other coconut oils are derived by either using chemicals or heat for faster extraction of oil which leads to loss of nutrients due to other chemicals and heat. Eg. eating raw salad (extra virgin coconut oil) >>>> eating veg sabzi(coconut oil) both ate vegetables but the process of using heat oils salt makes it less healthier than eating it raw.

In my home we’ll pluck 20 coconuts and sun dried it after we will go to chekku store and make it as oil. Very fresh coconut oil. Everyone can do it if I can. You can buy coconuts also. Break it sundry it. And go to marachekku store. Lots of stores are there in Chennai. Make your own virgin coconut oil. The oil come from 20 coconuts willlast long for a year.

Virgin coconut oil s extracted from coconut milk thru cold press method and hence all the nutrients are intact.t s rich in medium chain fatty acids and the oil had a cloudy appearance.
Store brands oils usually involves multiple processes like heating,bleaching and refining and hence many vital nutrients r lost and we don't obtain the benefits as much from the oil.

Extra virgin coconut oil is nothing but mara chekku ennai. The process of extracting oil from coconut is chemical free and the the oil doesn't heat up. So there is no loss of nutrients. That's what mara chekku ennai does. Normal chekku ennai is not same as mara chekku ennai though it's chemical free chekku tends to heat up and there will be loss in nutrients. Its amazing for skin and health. Its a added value when the coconut is organic. If you see organic extra virgin coconut oil. No second thought please invest it's worth it.

There is a lot of differnce btwn extra virgin coconut oil and normal coconut oil...the main thing is not all the coconut oil wch is available are edible , sterilised, cold pressed&like...hnc the diffrncs reflect in cost of it!
