Each year I ride Eroica and randomly bump into a guy I worked with many years ago. Then I’m watching some Eroica films for inspiration on my next bike build project and he pops up in your film meeting Chris Boardman. Small world and great film. Hope you enjoyed 2017’s ride and come back next year!
Pre 1987 bikes, but you must use standard toe-clips and straps on the pedals, so no clipless pedals allowed. It’s all about the aesthetics - I think the pre-1987 rule for the frames exists to not rule out thousands of steel frames that look the part, without being rusty deathtraps! 🙂
Thanks very much. It is always difficult to shoot an event you are taking part in.The "helmet cam" shots were done with a Sony HDR AZ-1 (it has a great stabilizer in it) and the main video was done with a Sony AX-53. There was one shot of me done on a friend's Go Pro.
Coming to this late - I’m on an Eroica trip around TH-cam. Great film and gets me excited for this years event!
I did that ride on this year and tree years before this one. Was a good hard ride😊
