Autumn: Quilchena Park
มุมมอง 3802 ปีที่แล้ว
I had a cycling accident in late September and ended up wearing a neck brace for two months. During this time, unable to ride a bike, I decided to photograph the changing leaves in Quilchena Park, near my home. This is the result. I went out every day, rain or shine, and did a circuit of the park - photographing from 30 marked locations. Those still photographs were then combined to make this v...

Monterey Historic Races 1978
มุมมอง 4115 ปีที่แล้ว
In August of 1978 I travelled with my friends Fritz and Theresa Duernberger and their 1965 Alfa Romeo Guilia TZ (Tubulare Zagato) to the Historic Auto Races in Monterey, California. This is a short film about the experience. Shot on silent Super 8 film, edited and then sent out for sound striping. The audio was added later using an Elmo ST-1200HD sound projector.
I just adored this band when I was a teenager!!
I did that ride on this year and tree years before this one. Was a good hard ride😊

hey Hans, Im the drummer in this. I cant remember if you did the second Rhodes and Marshall video. If you did, do you have a copy of it?
The only other video I did with Rhodes and Marshall was for the song Cool New Country.

Same! This song randomly came into my head tonight and I had to google it.. couldn’t remember who it’s by.. but it’s forever in my head just from watching CMT when I was 5.

Many thanks ro Hans Sipma for posting this. When my family and I moved to Ash Street in River Heights around 1954, the first friend I made was Garth Nosworthy. This video brings back so many great memories!

Fantastic, good memories
I was 8 years old in the fall of 1969. Our parents took my sister and me to see The Mongrels perform live with the WSO at the Centennial Concert Hall. Coolest thing ever! As I recall, they covered at least one tune from Abbey Road (Maxwell's Silver Hammer, to be specific).
So cute
I was really sad to learn that in addition to my uncle, Alan, that all these guys passed away far too young from cancer. So heartbreakingly sad. Hans, you were the equipment man right?! Thank you for sharing this, June 26 marks the day Alan and I shared a birthday. I make sure this gets alot of plays, but especially on our birthdays. My family and I really appreciate you for posting this, I feel like I get to see him in his prime, and happy. What a great way to remember my Uncle Alan. Thank you Hans.
Thanks for those lovely comments, he was a great and funny guy.
