Vengeant Apparatus is one elite company now. Another phenomenal install, boys!

Vengeant knows no limits... those V series Ions on the front is pretty cool, getting wider warning then a normal ion

Amazing build. I am trying to spec out what I would want on a truck like that and I would add a few couple things.
I would have a tray that goes across the cross lays that would hold like two backboards and a basket. I think that would use that space right there very well. Can even make it flip up, so when relaying the hose it can flip to a 90* angle towards the cab to allow easier access. But it’s really unused space right there.
Would also add 6 of the M7 lights to the back so it flashes 2 on one side against 1 on the other with the middle mounted ones acting as stop and tail. Just like on some ambulances. Would flash warning but when brakes are applied they go steady to give more notice of braking instead of only two at the bottom getting lost in a sea of flashing.
Would also use the Traffic advisor with the center stop / tail built into it for a high mounted stop light. If the IONs had to be used, I would make the middle one red to act as the high mounted stop.
Would also add grab handles on the side of the hose bed to prevent the hoses from being pulled along the finished edge / paint. I would also use a longer handle near the truck cab for the same purpose. To protect the hose from hitting the paint on the cab, as well as an edge protector on the body by the pump panel to prevent it from being dragged across the edge. I know it doesn’t happen very often, but it only takes one time of someone not paying attention or pulling hose in a less than ideal tight area to create some friction rubs on paint.
I would use M7s on the fenders and above the rear wheel, but use the V series in amber with the white scene to act as a turn signal and puddle lamp above the rear wheel. Programmed so anytime the headlights are on and vehicle is in park, the puddle lamp comes on, and then scene with scene.
If the tray above the cross lays isn’t wanted, I would use the space above the roll up doors, in the back like you have the pole and suction storage put a door above the M7s that would serve as backboard storage, unless it would make it too structurally unsound right there. If that was the case I would want the box a few inches taller.
Only issue I can see with that truck is that pin to hold the backboard getting bent when a hose is pulled over time and making it so the pin can’t be pulled easily. A seatbelt strap with Velcro or a clip would have been useful in that application.
Just my ideal build, but if you guys use any of my ideas in the future, credit me lol.

Excellent lighting package, flash pattern choice and sync. Very effective setup in that regard. I'd like to see a full install video one day as far as mounting and wiring the lighting equipment.

What kind of gross weight is the unit sitting at? Dept will load another 1000ish pounds of equipment, plus water weight, and personnel. At final stage it would be near the 19.5k gvwr. Either way very clean and simple, the recessed light tower is a life saver for old stations.

only bad thing i see about this is the pin for the backboard. laying in with 5" or 3" could snag or bend the pin and then it will get stuck. other that that it's an extremely solid build

How can a apparatus this long be spec'ed only as Mini Pumper? It has a longer wheelbase than our full-size Rescue Engine which has a cab designed for a crew of 9 ...

Probably figured it out by now. But they have dome lights in the headliner you can see at the end of the video. So it’s probably for the red and white of the dome lights.
