  • Sri Suktam is the most ancient and powerful vedic hymn from Rigveda recited for invoking Goddess Lakshmi's blessings in one's life through the Sri Suktam Sadhana. (It is also used for making 16 offerings to your deity (shodashopchar pooja) with the 16 verses.)
The translation in this video has been taken from the book, 'The Legend of the Goddess' by Om Swami. In this book, Swami ji says that if there is only one sadhana one wants to pick up for material progress then it is Sri Suktam Sadhana. The book also mentions that this sadhana is capable of turning one's life around completely. 'Sri Suktam is capable of fulfilling all desires of a devotee, including liberation!'

Disclaimer: This recording was purely done out of my fondness for this hymn. I am not an expert in Vedas or in Mantra chanting.
