However, most of these diets appear effective short term. That is because, just like in any other diet plan, most people tend to stop once they have lost a certain amount of weight, meaning they will gain it back once they stop the diet. The best way to maintain a healthy lifestyle for a long-term period is by permanently changing your eating habits to be healthy.
