- Today, as per your request in the comments of my Atomic Skull s Superman video, I am mixing and matching parts from the repaint of Action Comics 1000 Superman and Superman from Hush.

come on McFarlane, you literally have all the parts, just combine it into this and i promise you, you would literally have the perfect Superman and people wont get enough of him

That is amazing. I did something similar. What all I did was swap out, the arms and legs, keeping the whole torso, and added the Cape. So the whole torso from the TWo pack superman, but the arms and legs along with the Cape from hush, superman. Honestly, I think it turned out pretty well.

Now all you need is a cloth cape with the classic yellow logo and this might be one of the best superman figures
Man now that you mention it, a nice wired cloth cape would really be the cherry on top wouldn't it?

I did a thigh extension to the hush superman body and longer legs actually balanced that body out. Visually plus he's taller now idk what this mash up would look like with the thigh mod but if your curious Bones and the necro zones Martian Manhunter video explains how to do it

Now if only I can fix the skin tone of the fist vs on face and neck, that hush pale skin color is really bugging me... oh, and the fist are kinda big too 🤔
I could live with the slight color/sheen difference of the torso, If only it didn't have those damn wrist cuffs and lines/seam details in the suit. An \S/ on the cape would be nice.

I have kitbashed McFarlane supermans as well I got the dark knight returns superman and I put the gladiator superman head on there and it looks great it’s my definite superman on my shelf

I did this same thing except i kept the original lower torso and added a wired cloth cape with the yellow logo on the back

What Superman has the closest Skin tone to the Atomic Skull Supes? I for the longest time thought it was Goofy Smile supes but I’m not too sure now
He looks like his hands are HUGE. Funny swap. I use a heat gun for customizing. Do you like plastic capes? I've debated making wired fabric capes, to replace my plastic ones.
Are Superman Hush hand pegs compatible with Superman Rebirth hands?

@@5POAFigureReviewsi swapped out the hands and wrist pegs with the Atomic Skull one onto the Hush arms. it’s better size wise and skin tone matches, even if the wrist peg is blue
Also maybe you should use the rebirth hands!
My only concern with using different hands is the wristballs will have to come out too, but it's worth a try
May I know how is the ab crunch articulation for the custom supe?
Unfortunately I have not found a way to click him into place yet so right now the torso is just kinc of wedged in up there
Hey jason, i plan on doing this myself, i could never get the rebirth abdomen to fit with the AC100 chest, did you do anything particular with that? Most clmmon method i heard was making a new socket using a hot glue gun
Honestly I just shoved it down in there as tight as I could. It didn't click in but for purposes of figure photography and such it's tight enough for me. Not sure what a good long-term solution is but for now I am good.
His hands are still gigantic though 😅

I tried doing that torse split swap with the Action Comics and Rebirth Superman but couldn't get it to snap in place. I assumed these figures would be the same. Did it just pop in place for you or did you have to do some sanding?
I haven't modified it to click into place yet tbh
@@5POAFigureReviews Okay! So I grabbed up these two guys and decided to give it a try. I found that if I heated up the bust and abs enough I could get the ball completely in socket. Once cooled and hardened I was able to move it freely with reasonable tension without the ball popping out. However, I'm just noticing the blues don't exactly match up and he looks like he's wearing a blue tank top over his blue body suit.🤦♂️

Did you heat up the shoulder before removing, or just tug it out ?

Nah they pop off easily.
I still prefer AC1000 to keep all original parts. It looks off with Hush limbs on him. Chest now looks small when swapped.
I can see what you mean. I love AC1000 as is too, but I do really like these legs on him.
Nah... IMO the Hush Superman is perfect the way it is, I like the 1000 as is too, but it has a horrible ab cut, the only thing that 1000 could do to make it better is the head and the skin won't match, but body parts? Nothing it can do, Hush one is better.

Nah just because I don't always do the swaps doesn't mean I'm not buying them 😅 at least I have the 1st release of the 1000, if only the rebirth had red boots like the Ultraman 2 pack, that would've been my go to Sups, I wish I could use the Rebirth head which is the same sculpt of 1000 on the Hush version but skin doesn't match 😔

Also with the arms of hush, are they the same color as infected hush superman with angry face? Those arms could be lighter unless they are exactly the same.
No his skin is much more vibrant. If you look at my full video for Atomic Skull vs Superman it's much clearer
The blue on Infected Superman is much lighter by comparison. Also the wrist colors don't match
