This video is a follow-up my Victor Part 2 video covering the details of the Behringer Victor module. This eurorack module is a quad digital oscillator which is based on the Prophet VS synthesizer from Sequential Circuits. This technology is called Vector Synthesis. It was the basis for the Korg Wavestation and the Yamaha SY22 and TG33 synthesizers.
Part 3 (this video) continues this detailed tutorial with more Use Cases and a look at software available for the Behringer Victor Module.

    Hey OZ
I saw that editor on line. Glad to see that it works with the Victor also. I will certainly pick up a copy. The joystick out is really fun and very useful for all kinds of modules. I have been checking around and heard that they may provide a polyphonic option in the future through an update. That would give you the ability to control the 4 oscillators through midi. Lets hope they do this sometime soon. I am really having fun with this module. Thanks for all the great info yet again. Cheers

Thanks Tony. It has been fun working with it. The editor really only supports sending MIDI CC. I'm hoping they update it to work with the Victor. Even then, without sending a full Program to the Victor, all editors are hamstrung because the Victor only responds to those twelve MIDI CC commands.

Thanks! These videos are helpful. Do you have any idea what the process is for transferring patches from the pro versus mini to the Victor module? I have not yet been able to figure it out.

First, thanks for watching and commenting. Second, did the chapter "8:41 - Synthtribe Software" in Victor Part 3 (tutorial 2 of 2) make sense?
Third, I do not own/have access to a Pro VS mini (VS = "Vector Synthesis" here). The Synthtribe software allows you to connect (via USB) both the Victor and the Pro VS mini to a computer. The computer, of course, is running the Synthtribe software.
In this video I demonstrated copying a program from the Victor to a file on the computer.
With both synths (Victor and Pro VS mini) attached, the transfer would be from the Pro VS mini to the Victor. I'm not sure the transfer will work in the opposite direction, but I can't say for sure.
Watch that chapter again and let me know if that makes sense.
      Thanks - O.Z.
