@@OOCFM This argument is old and tired... I watched the original when it had more than 100M views. Wish pulled it the first time to reset the view count (for whatever reason), and then re-uploaded it. The second time they pulled it down was for good. She absolutely had more than the original video by Andra Day, yet some people just don't want to accept that. *shrug*

The copyright holder BMG filed a international DMCA. I was not a take down since it was generating a ton of passive revenue. WISH took it down because why host a video that was redirecting revenue straight to BMG. She has another version on her official channel that is different enough to not cause another legal dispute. It has nothing to do with the original singer being upset the cover had more views than the original.

The original rise up on wish was taken down. During its upload, the views were 5-6million per month. Imagine how many it May have been today. What's available now are Fan uploads. The Rise up performance was very sentimental Mori because during her guesting, a note was given to her saying that Wish 107.5 was giving her the major Araneta concert of life. 🥰🇵🇭

Hey Jacob, I noticed that you have commented multiple times on the musical production of many of Morissette's live performances. You'll see her musical director Adonis Tabanda pretty often in the background with a bass guitar during some of her live performances or singing backup during her quarantine videos. Nice reaction sir. I always learn so much more about music by watching different industry professionals react specifically to Morissette. In your case, we learn a bit about the mixing portion of a performance like this and how a good mixer can help or hinder a performance. When taken together with the reactions from vocal coaches it does help me learn about music. For example, all but one of the vocal coaches that I have heard called those whistle tones. I just heard someone today say that he believed that was actually a flagolet (sp?) tone and not quite a whistle. I've never heard of that term before today. Maybe they are wrong but I definitely learned something from it. Liked and subbed man.
I would also love to hear your reaction to Angelica Hale singing either Stone Cold or another song she does called Looking Up. She is 13 years old and she came in 2nd place in 2017 on AGT at the tender age of 10. She is pretty amazing with her ability, which is hindered by the fact that one of her lungs is only working at about 80% capacity due to a severe illness at the age of 4. Let me know if you need a link to either/both of those songs.

Mori's fans jokingly refer to this song as a "buwis-buhay na kanta" (a song where you risk your life). Because if you attempt to sing it the way Morissette does it, with the long whistle notes and that one-breath-14-seconds-long phrase, you could end up in the hospital, literally! 😁

Filipino singers never went to vocal coaching schools. Their singing talents are all natural and God given and we have tons of talents here in the Philippines.
