Exactly. Hold 'em poker isn't constant action. Brad will say "a couple orbits later" or something like that and it's important to realize that it could be an hour and a half later that he's playing his next hand. In a 6 or 8 hour session Brad will cover maybe 10 hands. You can't make moves every hand and the timestamp shows that. I love the addition.

Great watching you progress. One huge advantage is that you have so many of your decisions on tape. One thought is that when you say "back door" you might fold more often as you are two cards to make your hand when opponents may have theirs. Another thought is that when you have a good hand to occasionally close down the action with an over bet and take the small gains. Lastly, how elastic is your game based on the limits? Seen you in some big ones recently and wondering how your play changes in a 5/10 vs 20/40? Anyway, my blah, blah. Your great videos and great play. Inspiring really.

It shouldn’t matter if the dealer thinks it’s a video or not, it’s highly inappropriate for him to be commenting at all during a hand. Even a joke can influence the hand… for instance, let’s say he didn’t know your hand and joked you had pocket 8’s. There is a chance, however slight, you might have the hand he jokes about which will look very bad on him. And if he jokes you have a good hand, and you do, your reaction to his joke could be read as confirmation (which likely will be an honest reaction since you’re not expecting a joke and you’ll be caught off guard).

    Hey Brad
Been forever since I popped in to comments. As one of the OG viewers I can honestly say I still enjoy watching every vlog. Clean, funny, gutsy, informative and above all inspiring to me personally. I too have been getting better and the results show it albeit not on your level 😉.
I still however haven’t been able to make a MUG yet with my work schedule. For motivation I announce that my poker New Years Resolution for 2022 is to finally make a MUG in either SoCal or LV. Sometimes you just have to make it happen right? I look forward to that night. Thanks for the great content Brad. Go Niners, Go Giants. Go Brad

I have one question. Why is the dealer even making comments about a specific hand?
You took that way better then many others would have Brad.
I think a supervisor should have been called too the table

I think the dealer calling out your hand was inappropriate. I know that was not his intention but to speak out like that could had given the other player something to think about in the back of his head.

Hey Brad, can't wait to watch this video. I've been watching you for a while now and i've picked up a lot of the terms that you use to the point that I know whats going on at the tables, but there's one phrase I've heard you say in almost every video and it's "i'm getting almost three to one on a call" or something around there and i know it has to do with calculating pot odds but i don't know what those are/how to calculate them. Was wondering if you could make a video at some point explaining how to calculate pot odds for your viewers to help step up our game. I know you're really busy with the vlogs but i think that would be a cool video, or maybe you know a video you could link me to. Thanks and keep killing it been loving the videos!
