@deejayplaza I run DJ Pro on a Samsung S22 running through a Reloop Mixtour Pro. For some gigs I run Mixxx on Ubuntu and its less resource hungry. I am building out a NUC for private functions and moving to a stand alone controller.
In my experience the big difference is the drivers. On PC laptop this just always sucks. I have an XPS and it just doesn’t want to do music. I fixed it once by removing the chipset driver. But its just too much hassle. Also running internal midi between apps isnt nice on Windows. Maybe its better on those new Qualcom laptops. Haven’t tried those yet. On my MacBook it is painless but then you have to put up with a screen where the keyboard is imprinted because Apple can’t build laptops properly and they will screw you over at every chance they get.
I'm so sorry for me be too subtle in the video because I don't want to get into politics. I'm also sorry for not knowing that 1 was statistically significant
@deejayplaza The only Windows laptop that I have is a Lenovo Thinkpad X 240 running Windows 10 Pro other than that I run Ubuntu on my Lenovo X220i with Mixxx on it. Mixxx is stable and far less resource hungry than Serato, Virtual DJ, Traktor or De Juiced. For the private functions I do Mixxx running on Ubuntu which is mapped to the custom made Midi controllers that I built based on Ardunio boards. The only other stand alone controller that I am buying is the Dennon Prime 4 + and I can run Windows 10 Pro in a virtual machine inside Ubuntu Studio on my custom built NUC with external GPU and Sound Card outputting to my Motu M6
Ok so no to Apple? Yes to Hp? I have Hp and record box and I and not having the best experience so I was going to switch to Mac. May just just stick to HP
thanks bro

The XPS is infamous for its issues.... for years now
That's why its on the non-recommended list

Yeah, I don't get the Apple appeal.
Had Macs for 10 years, their OS is good, but hardware was drama without end.
@DP-lx1jn What version of Rekord box are you using?
