Hello sir, I have a question When doing the adsorption analysis by using UV visible spectrophotometer how to do the dilution of the samples like if there is one sample control blank pollutant sample and after shaking at equilibrium time with different concentration then how to analyze the data by doing UV

If ci is the initial concentration of metal ion ,isnt it be constant while the value of ce changes as in isotherm we use a range of media weight in grams so value of ce will Change according to media.plz tell me about ci???
This is for metal ions kindly help me how to read the values if we done adsorbtion by adding adsorbent in a dye solution then what r the C and ce values
Thank you so much! But, let me raise one question...How Ci could be variable in concentration as you stated in this video (10mg/L upto 500 mg/L)? Please justify that if you got my question. That part is not clear for me. All other things are well elaborated. Thanks again.
It was very helpful!! Thank you so much. I am working on Binary gas adsorption. I am thinking of using MPD(Myers-Prausnitz-Dubinin) model which is the combination of the IAST with a formulation of the pure gas isotherms with the help of DA(Dubinin-Astakhov) equation. but then I was stuck in solving IAST equation which has incomplete gamma function. Do you have any excel sheet for this? I would like to estimate binary gas adsorption on activated carbon by using pure gas isotherm.
Hi, very nice video specially for those who are not familiar with these isotherms, for those who cannot use this origin graphing, is there a video on excel? thank you
Hi! I have a question regarding the concentration range. For my thesis I used really low Ci values from 0.1 to 0.3 and thus I got some really low Ce for example 0,01. What made you pick that range of concentrations ? Cause after calculating the log of Ce I got negative values so I got a bit lost in here. Really appreciate your help
@@AsifResearchLab I really appreciate your efforts to explain step by step the calculations/fitting data method. But in case, we just have absorbance then is there any video link from which we can just simply understand to convert the absorbance into concentration. Or any other helping link?
hello bro i need help. can you also make a video on how to apply non linear form of Freundlich isotherm. my submission is near and i dont know how to apply it
Ci is the initial conc of metal ion or dye...while Ce is the remaining conc of metal ion or dye after adsorption. Ce can be find via UV calibration curve or atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS).
Asif bro, Salam, I have a question, when I use UV-vis spectrometry, the adsorbed amount is by mg/l or ppm how can I know the unit of measurement? Coz just gave me like.043 Abs
Spectroscopy gives you option about what kind of results you want, if you choose absorbance it will give you value of absorbance,if you choose concentration it will give you both abs and conc. (mg/l)
@@AsifResearchLab V? Is that working volume for the dye/metal ion solution before adsorption or after adsorption? I don't understand it ... please verify it.

How to find Ce Value sir?
ce is the amount of metal ion remains in solution after adsorption and we find this value by using atomic adsorption spectroscopy.
