With Christmas fast approaching, I thought I'd have a go at making a guitar tutorial of one of my favourite christmas songs!
This is a nice fun song to play, fairly simple - So if you fancy learning this song then I hope my tutorial is helpful!
Recorded with my new Gibson SG Standard 2019 guitar straight into Logic for a basic clean tone.

Cheers for this mate! Got a Christmas concert coming up and have to perform this. It’s my first concert and without this I’d be hopeless

What Joe said. I don't play an Em because when it gets to the double accents on verse 2 onwards, it fits much better to play 2 on the G, 2 on the Bm then the 2 different D's. On the second bit of the chorus I find it sounds better to slide up from the Bb to a D5 rather than a standard D. (I know Noddy plays the normal D)👍🏼 Although it's hard to see what Dave and Noddy are playing exactly as they are miming mostly so maybe not always being accurate.

I've seen the Em played as a G/E instead, which works quite well and feels less jarring than changing to an Em.

Another awesome video, Rob! Wish I could play the guitar I won from Lovis Rocks, but I can’t use my left hand very well- my arthritic fingers lock

I'm hearing an A minor in the second part of the pre- chorus.

Not sure the Em is there after the G in the verse, think it just stays on G.

Joe Robson quite possibly! That would certainly make it a bit easier, The G, Em, Bm quick change is a bit of a pain!

Interesting - guess the lyrics don't make much sense to Americans!
