Deadstorm Pirates Special Edition is a pirate themed historical-fantasy fixed-gun shooter developed and released by Namco Bandai for arcades using Namco System 357 hardware on March 26 2014. This version is an upgrade over the original 2010 game. It features two new stages can be selected at the start: "Tower stage" where the players glide from the tower top at full speed and "Fortress stage" where they explore an eerie fort while clearing it from the enemies. A new movie is also added at the game end, expanding the ending a little bit more. The game uses a deluxe "closed booth style" cabinet with a 54" LCD monitor, 5.1 sound system, rumble seats, and three controllers, two fixed guns, one for each player, and a large ship's wheel for use by both players in certain events. The cabinet make use of very large "theater style" cabinet now and it features a large lit up skull on the front of the cab.
