The interviewer asked great questions, she was obviously knowledgeable about the genre/band, unlike most that you watch. I found this very easy to watch/enjoy.
Didn't think this was bad at all. I think she had good questions. She did mess up the album title but that's fine. She doesn't need to be a hardcore fan of Mastodon to be able to interview them. Camera focus was the only thing that was off really. Not sure why there is any hate for the interviewer.
Emperor of Sand is amazing. It's the album of my life. As Bill said, I am emotionally connected to their music because their music comes from them, from their hearts their experiences. It's such a beautiful organic creation.
+El Jefe I've never heard of anyone confusing the name of the album like that. I can imagine that people who've never actually listened the album might make that mistake, but man... a supposed interviewer who's reading her notes? Get out of here. The guys awkwardly looked at each other like, "What the f--k did she just say!? HA! Let's just get on with this...". I get your point, but no; it doesn't redeem this blooper at all.
Ever think that maybe they're not entitled rockstars who expect everyone to know everything about the band and are open to introducing their music to new people who have never heard of them before? Basically, they're cooler people than most of their fanbase.
Give the interviewer a break. She's not the most natural iv seen but she did better than most of you would and she wasn't annoying or cheesy or false. Kudos for that . they didn't care about her one tiny mistake.. Get a grip.
That intro was quite something. That was written in advance and yet delivered like it had never been seen before. And how thoroughly researched, clearly knows the music scene inside out... And you can't beat "talk about x" as a question format. That's quality music journalism. "Yeah, I definitely understand"...No. No, you don't. Definitely.
Mastodon is a 4 cylinder Bill? I honestly didn’t care for/didn’t get Emperor Of Sand in the first few listens, actually took about 6 months, now I absolutely love it! Cheers boys!!!
This interviewer is hard to listen to, and hard to watch. When Bill is speaking the camera is focused on Troy. The interviewer should have rehearsed a bit more. The guys very kind to her.
I just wanted to say that I loved her. One cannot expect that the interviewer knows everything about the band. Still it's her work to try to know as much as posible. But I don't blame her because the interview was well done, interesting. And the guys didn't seem to feel awkward with her, they were really kind as always. I just loved her.
definitely cringe worthy, but maybe this is not her taste in music and doesn't know too much about the band. if this is the case, why have her interview them? but hey she held up and I still enjoyed hearing these masterminds talk. thanks for the video
Bad interviewer with very solid questions. However you could tell she doesn't really you their kind of music. She looks like a cafe person. Anyway. I enjoyed watching bill talk a and Trent chime when he felf like i
Imagine how hard you have to try, and how much you have to go out of your way to look the way, that girl looks. Those lenses are intentionally over magnified and she’s speaking in a way that intentionally over emphasizes her front teeth and puffs her cheeks out. I guess she’s a Bunny Rabbit or something?
she really doesnt have any idea who these guys are does she

I hate when interviewers don't know/have no interest in the band they're interviewing.

10:36 " ... your 2009 record 'Crack in the Sky' ". My God, they must've cringed so hard on the inside, but they kept their cools!
It was so cringy I had to press pause
literally shaking
It's an easy mistake. There is a part in The Czar that says "Spiraling up through the crack in the sky"

awesome interviewer!

GianCarlo0910. She's an intern, give her a break.

'Crack in the sky' well she's clearly a fan :|

Yeah the interviewer was the first thing I noticed. Holy crap what a horrible interviewer.
Can't wait for that Hammerstein ballroom show

Cal Chuchesta could have put on a great interview with Mr. Dan.
McLovin's cute sister

Sometimes Troy reminds me on Zed from Police Academy

lmao!! what an odd chick! funny.. i swear at the end she was like "you're hot" lolololol after "now that youve admited it haha awkward.
Dear lord this was painful to watch
everyone is blaming the interviewer.maybe these guys aren't the best people to interview.
Worst interviewer ever. She obviously has never even listened to Mastodon.
