Another vote for them squeezing a fireplace in. It's one of the few items my wife really wants in a 5th, though she's willing to give it up for a smaller size. This might be just the ticket.
Well done Josh as usual! I am in agreement with other comments made, I will buy one for sure as this is perfect for my wife and I with dogs. However as my wife is clumsy and would consistently hit her long legs on the table extended out as a permanent setting. It would be amazing to have it go all the way in when not being used. Also fireplace is one of our favorite pieces in our trailer as we don't always have to use our propane. Desk mobility to go to counter level when not in use would be amazing. Only three things I would change! Absolutely beautiful!
I love how well prepared you are for each of these (data, sizes, construction details) along with the light tone/humor. This 5th wheel is really nice. Brinkley’s are quite something.
WOW 😳❤😮 She's beautiful and turtle friendly at 30 feet!!!! I love the colors and styling, your wife's right, a few touches will really Pop and you can personalize. I love the camp side windows. Love the increase in the solar package.
I love it! Only thing I would do differently would be is to make the desk next to the kitchen so that it could go up to counter height. This would make more versatile if you don't need the desk.
I totally agree. If that desk could be 2 position it would be great for extended food prep. I would hardly ever use a desk as I am near retirement. Had enough with the desks during my career. LOL.
This is perfection, with the exception that I NEED a fireplace…it’s literally the only thing I would change. And if they could add folding chairs instead of those stools, that would be helpful.
What if it had an electric heater that wasn't a fireplace? Word is furrion is working on an option to add an electric heating element to that chill cube air unit. That could allow this rv to have elec heating like a "fireplace" and maintain more storage. Would that work?
Another great video… thanks Josh! IMHO, this is Brinkley’s best Z floorplan yet! Full access to kitchen, bathroom and bedroom while en-route, while under 30 feet! Without knowing specific dimensions of particular features or their difficulty to implement, would love to see some alterations: 1) Remove the back wall desk, and extend the countertop and base cabinet to the wall. (Looks like the countertop and base cabinet may need to reduce depth to provide clearance for the slide fascia) 2) Remove the existing countertop, table and cabinets under the TV, and replace them with a full-size “Dinesk”, width allowing. Would love to sit four full-size people for meals! Storage ottomans could be replaced with chairs. 3) The factory-installed coil suspension could be a game changer, but only if it tests well; Josh: looking forward to a future video on this! Thank you Brinkley for another great design!
Added note: I would sacrifice some or all of those cabinets under the TV, if Brinkley could place a full length Dinesk there. Not head-crank watching the TV from the existing pull-out table anyways. Hope Brinkley reads this, but given I’m response #550+, guessing they’ve not read down this far…
Nice rig, but here are a few thoughts… We use our fireplace a lot for heat instead of the furnace. Can they offer a fireplace instead of all the cabinets under the table? Our Rockwood has an oblong footstool. It has lots of room for storage. The issue is it’s difficult to pick up. You can’t lift by the top as it doesn’t lock. There aren’t any handles to pick it up. The round foot stools don’t have handles either. If you fill them with stuff, they will be difficult to move around. The magnet for the fridge travel lock is genius. I really like that they don’t have a skylight. We keep ours covered all the time to keep the heat out. I wish all manuf did that. The bathroom and bedroom are great! The bedroom ac is great but I wish it had a heat strip. We use ours a lot. I saw a mount over the slide out. Is it prepped for slide toppers? Are they a factory option? Another great video!
There is no fireplace swaption currently but there is a LOT of talk Furrion may be adding a heat option to their Chill Cube A/C units So this RV _might_ be able to provide electric heating without losing the storage in the future. If I had to guess that's what they're preparing for.
Josh, I live in Las Vegas. I own a Brinkley 3400. I camped at Lake Mead for a week in July. Temps were 121 degrees... My Brinkley inside temp never got above 79 degrees. Amazing!!
Was not crazy about the 2670, this is a solid floor plan, only change would be forego the desk and continue kitchen cabinets and countertop. Dining table doubles as a desk. Not a deal breaker, the 2680 is now at the top of my list.... Great job on the review, TY!
Wow. I am speechless. This is perfect. Im normally not a fan of white cabinets and white lights but i have to say this actually is a perfect rv. Brinkley never fails to suprise me. I have nooo complaints. Thanks for showing us around!! 💪🏼👍🏼
What if instead of the table sliding out- the counter slid out into a bar and had hidden storage underneath. I also like the adjustable desk in back so you can use it as counter space if needed. I would like a fire place as well instead of the cabinet under the table
There are so many cool alternative dining concepts out there. I'm not sure there's one that works for everybody but I like it any time a MFG tries something new
We are in a 3610 and the husband wants me to learn to tow this beast-NOPE! But this little cutie, I might try. Love the travel day accessibility and that outdoor fridge.
So.. some food for thought We had some clients from my home store in a similar situation. She finally reluctantly learned to tow the RV. She hated doing it but she learned Then about a month later the husband had a health scare while driving (blood pressure dropped). He managed to get the rv over to the shoulder safely before she took over and got them to a hospital. Thankfully he was OK but it helped she got him there more quickly than waiting on emergency staff to arrive I hope you never encounter anything like that but.. it CAN happen
This is now my favorite 5th wheel. Love the attention to little details. The following 👍 Floor plan, rear desk area with window, slide out cabinets,Fan over stove top, storage space, windows all three sides, slide out table, duel shower head, under belly storage, shock absorbing hitch, 3000 load cap. shock absorbing suspension. ___Small Things i would add .Stick on coat hooks and key rack by door. stick on led motion sensitive cabinet lights. As always Josh your the best !
I appreciate your videos so much. You are the reason we purchased our Rockwood 2608bs-- I AM SOO thankful you continue to show more Brinkley's. I believe they are showing the way RV Should be made. I still LOVE our Rockwood, but do hope one day to get a Brinkley.
Brinkley: Where luxury seamlessly blends with adventure in a thoughtfully designed RV! 😍😍😍😍They never let me down...which makes it REALLY hard to decide which to RV to get! I think I'll talk my daughter into getting one so we can swap depending on our trips 😂
This is a super cool model❤. I love the upgrades. I agree with many of the comments. I would take away the storage under the table and replace it with a fireplace. Or at least make the fireplace optional. I enjoy having the option to not run my furnace on those chilly days.
@ No, I really like the ambiance that you get with the fireplace. Sometimes I will sit in my camper with the lights off and the fireplace on. The glow and heat simulates a fire. It brings back fond memories of growing up when you could have wood fires.
So many things SO right on this thing! Love the bedroom and especially the queen bed. Hard to pick on anything on this. Love the stove, love the desk. The only thing and this is based on my taste, is the brushed gold hardware. Not a fan. That being said, I just bought a new 3/4 ton gas rig that this would tow nicely. I think I've finally found my new rig! Well done Brinkley! And Josh too, lol
Ok, I think Josh may be tired of my 👍 and comments 😅 but this model has us stoked. Just left Brinkley Z model tour and solidified how well these are made. Highly recommend a tour... bonus we took a sneak peek at the Z2680 and much better in person. The Curt Suspension will be a game changer, will reduce the jarring of the road. I'd buy the Z2680 just for the Curt suspension, hope Brinkley keeps this for the production Rigs 🙂👍 Thanks Josh!!!
Remove the kitchen desk and put in a 2 person dinette/table chair setup under the TV and throw a fireplace in there somewhere then this would be a perfect floor plan. You are a 100% correct tho…you have to see these in person to appreciate the colors!! **Really liking the new spec sheet look you now have!**
l love that Brinkley (and a few others) are really thinking out of the box and coming up with solid solutions like that armless awning, the desk inside with storage. I love that already has the electronic keypad. For the more upscale manufactures, this is what I expect. Good stuff
Wow! This unit is phenomenal! Like you said, all kinds of little touches that are easy to miss, but make so much sense and make camping life just that little bit easier. I'm not usually a big fan of fifth wheels - they're just too big - but this size seems so doable, well thought out and executed. Plus, best Road Mode I've ever seen!
Glad to be of service :) That kind of stuff takes a lot longer in terms of video capture time than people realize I could probably record 2x as many videos if I didnt open the storage and close the slides. It's a HUGE amount of extra time
Gorgeous rig again Brinkley knocked it out of the park. Awesome walk through as always Uncle Josh. The only thing I would change is that slide out table I would just opt for a bar setup but other than that it's a home run.
OMG Becky! They are continuously raising the bar! Brinkley my boy, you’ve done it again! Josh where do I go to vote for the RV Manufacturer of the Year? 🏆 Thank you Josh! 🤓
Well done Josh as usual! I am in agreement with other comments made, I will buy one for sure as this is perfect for my wife and I with dogs. I absolutely love this rv! Layout, the size, everything! We're going to look at a Brinkley this weekend since the Mrs. wants to see one. I'm always talking about them and pointing them out when we see one in the wild. I've got her excited to look at them now.
About this trailer......great design for sure, but I don't care for the pullout table by the entry door. It looks like something my wife and I would constantly run into because you can't push it flush. I'd rather have the fireplace, or better yet, just more storage there. The TV is not a huge issue being up high, simply replace the TV mount with a dropdown mount. I have one for my 75" TV mounted above my fireplace at home and it's amazing and drops the TV into the perfect position for viewing from the couch. What I'd love to see is the G3250 floorplan on a Z model (obviously dropping the "toy hauler" space in the rear). That Kitchen and Living Room setup is simply amazing. I'd also like to see them create a front living room model with half wall looking down into the kitchen and rear bedroom.
Agree about the table and would be nice to have an option for a Televator Fireplace combo and just eat on a table attached to the coach or theater seats.
@@timquicksell2726 Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. My wife and I love using these small slide able tables (kinda look like end tables) that the "L" shaped legs can easily slide under the seat and it pushes the table part over your lap. Then you just push them out of the way when not being used.
Dude I love watching your videos. You're a corny, funny ass dude. One day I'll reach out to you and buy this Brinkley model. Great video as always, thank you!
One thing Brinkley I would add is brake light strips that are vertical on the rear add 3 on each side and have them each blink 1..2..3 like some of the ford mustangs have.
Hay Josh my wife and i were taking a plant tour at Brinkley and was able to see this unit in person and we LOVE it we liked the 2670 but with the road mode on this one it is the BEST we have seen . I hope Brinkley keeps the table in the kitchen i do not like the other one that slides it is not wide enough for 4 people to use easy we like family style supper ya know pass the tatters kind of thing just saying thanks RIC
@@BrinkleyRV tour was great we didnt get to see the new i but thats ok .You people at Brinkley have made it more diffcult for us to make up are minds on witch of the new 30 ft Z to buy or the i witch is a good thing thanks RIC
I think an extra panel should be made to fill the open space under the foot of the bed. That way it can be used under true under bed storage, but items would not move out from under bed when traveling. Otherwise love this trailer!!
Beautiful rig! Reminds me a little of Darth Vader in the front. Have seen a few of these on the road and they are eye-catching. Love that shock-absorbing hitch. As GD 303RLS owners, we really, really love the fireplace and heating/asthetic features it offers. Great review and Josh, you are so funny!!!
Oh man Josh…… 1) Definitely the second camper bought the first time around. I love the look of the Brinkley’s. This is glamping and not camping. 2) This I think would satisfy my one and done purchasing plans. 3) I know you said they can’t run the awning the full length of the RV because of the tapered roof; but I ask… why not? If you run the awning the full length, ya, it would be in an angle, but precisely. You would be able to have more water run off towards the back and away from the outdoor camp side area. 4) I still think that they should wrap the ladder over the top for a safer transfer from rear to roof and return. They can position the LED taillights to not be in the way of the ladder. 5) Spare will have to go in under storage and off the belly for me. I don’t understand why the industry likes to have older rounded shape people do the watermelon crawl (or roll) under the RV’s to mess with the tire. Many of us aren’t spring chickens anymore and we don’t belong to AAA. We still try and do things ourselves. We aren’t dead….yet. 6) Ok. Let’s see. $100k for a new truck 🛻. The pricing link in this video took me to a Bullet camper, so I’m guessing $150k minimum for this rig. A new pole barn building to keep it nice and clean and out of the weather when not in use $350k +. So we are looking around at a $600k of an investment. You sure are trying to have me spend my retirement nest egg aren’t ya. 😂😅 37) Nice done review Josh. Great editing job Mr. Editor ✍️ 🎥
*1.) GLAMPING:* Yep! * 3.) AWNING:* if you ran the awning straight from the front to back it would run off the roof line due to the taper. Cannot be affixed. They could raise the roofline but this production facility isn't designed for that. It's kind of an issue of standardization. The cost/weight of that is also far more extreme than people realize. Wildcat tried it years ago. It came out heavier and more expensive than 2-slide models the same size despite having only one slide. It's nuts how some things add up so quickly *4.) LADDER:* Wrap-over ladder is nice for sure. An observation though - I've seen a LOOOOOOOT of damaged ladders over the years. Split-sections can limit damage/impact/spread. BUT.. also require you to take your hands physically off one section to another which isn't as ideal *5.) SPARE:* You got me with the watermelon crawl. Took me right back on that one. About a hundred gallons lol *6.) PRICING LINK:* More than one model has 2680 for a model designator which is how those links work. Even the smallest scroll shows you this unit
This is fantastic! Brilliant to be exact. Under 30' means you can camp, I mean glamp, almost anywhere. No exclusions from State and National parks for being too long. I noticed the substantial shock absorbers. I counted 8 of them. It looks like this is designed to do some serious travel and keep the travelers very comfortable. Brinkley has several smaller, better thought out, trailers that don't sacrifice amenities, the G3250 blew my mind and now the Z2680 makes another compelling argument. Keep up the good work!
The suspension you saw here was a prototype feature they were testing which is why I didn't get into it on camera. They're not sure they're going to adopt it They have a towing test track they use to beat the crap out of stuff and a vibration table in their factories to internally test further if it passes, then we may see it. If not, then they won't change away from their existing system
I love how Brinkley is always checking off all the boxes and should they miss one, they actually listen to their customers and go back and redo it! As you say Josh, they definitely packed 10 pounds of sugar in that 5 pound sack! I've seen larger but why bother? This has everything we'd ever need and it's done extremely well. For now, I'll keep dreaming! ❤❤❤
@JoshtheRVNerd well, actually it's pretty tough if not impossible to find a 5 pound sack (of sugar) now. 😬😂 But please keep saying it the way you do. I like the ring of it. Maybe one day they'll realize the error of their ways. 🤣
I love it but I’m concerned that there are no drawers in the kitchen for cooking tools or silverware or a junk tool drawer for small things. I know there is silverware storage over under the table but nothing near the stove or sink. Otherwise we love it.
I mean you're never going to satisfy everyone! I will insist on a minimum of a olympic queen on my next trailer. Reading the comments for the adjustable desk height would make that spot even more versatile for those not needing it. Also, I would opt for regular chairs with the storage seats. But, my word Brinkley, you hit this thing out of the park on this layout. Well Done! and Josh, as always, your in depth review is top shelf!
Really super nice 5th wheel. I would make the hanging closet in the bedroom gonall the way across with no dividers between it. There is lots of drawers already. I will never be able to buyban5th wheel, but wow this is beautiful. And I am one of those people that is willing to pay for quality and to have the extras like no 4in fart fans, and all of the little extras they have done. Super impressed with this.
I really love this one. Not a total fan of the gold hardware and the orangey coloured furniture but what a great layout and a tall shower! I really see the quality when viewing the Brinkley units. Very nice. Window frames are good, and they give you the ladder.
Huge fan of the back deck! The kitchen is nice and huge. The storage is good. The bathroom is great: the bedroom is great. Thank you! Get rid of the gold furniture and faucets!
a 5thwheel is probably too big for myself and pets going forward, but one @30ft with this very nice layout and features galore, sure makes me consider them now! Note: Video editing is great, and love the animated FX used with the window-info (scene-locked in 3dspace and animated!). Going up a notch, guys! Great review, thanks Josh & team.
Yeah Garrett's work on the editing is top shelf. Love that you noticed the window portion - that helped SO much more than just me verbally describing it
This is a great under 30’ floor plan!! They finally put the Rockford Fosgate audio in a Z Model - awesome!!! Just a couple of suggestions: a bedroom fireplace (like the Z Air 285 has), have that dining table go all the way in to avoid bruising (classic camping klutz talking here), foldable dining chairs like those in the Model I 265, and, maybe the floor safe like the one in the Z Air 285?? Even without these tweaks, it is just fabulous. The interior and exterior storage and outdoor fridge are wonderful. Great job on the awnings.! This is all we’ve come to know and love about Brinkley. Thanks for the thorough review, Josh! It’s everything we’ve come to know and love about you too. 😃
An absolutely perfect residential couple’s floorplan that allows for a large comfortable living area due to the breakfast bar instead of an outdated diner booth dinette👍👍👍and the $97,000 MSRP was substantially less than most Brinkley 5th wheels💥💥💥
I'm in LOVE....of course, with you Josh but now this new Brinkley...Had no idea they were coming out with this one...Also wanted to say love your videos and how your new partner added in all the specs mid video to remind us forgetful folks again what they are...he is going a great job. I wonder when they will go into production?
Love the floor plan but I think the extension table top sticking out like that is going to end up being something I would end up running into. I would also like the fireplace under the TV vs the storage as there is plenty of storage in that unit….maybe an option?
There's talk furrion will be adding a heating option to their chill cube air units which would allow them to give you electric heating without losing the storage. I cannot speak on their behalf but I'm betting they're building this with the idea of that being the solution
This is amazing! Love everything about it. Except maybe no fireplace, but that’s not much to complain about. Is there enough room to put a queen air mattress on the floor?
This is great and what we are looking for. My ONLY issue, when the sofa bed is out the "dine-a-desk" is in the way even when fully away. Can you make the desk a little shorter/less deep......It would be nice to be able to walk around the bed to get to the kitchen. I also feel that maybe you don't do a dine-a-desk and have it as a pullout that is the depth of the counter so it can be fully stored. It feels like you will be constantly knocking into it.
Thanks for the feedback! It is certainly a little tight when the trifold is pulled out, but you can always step over the corner of the trifold if you really needed to get to the kitchen.
@@BrinkleyRV Thank you for the response and appreciate it. I do think it should be something you consider or move the sofa bed and recliners (switch). I think to as people have mentioned that it jutting out might be a knee knocker. On another note will this be at the Tampa RV show in Jan? I was saying no to a 5th wheel...but who knows.
I get what you're saying though I'm not sure the desk area will be extended typically when the hide-a-bed is open. In my mind I see myself closing that up for sleeping time if guests are over Could be use-case dependent. If someone has multi-monitors always set up in a desk format, then perhaps it's a conflict Though it feels like if you're going to use full-time desk functions you would use the actual desk space
I ♥️ this 5th!! We have GD 22mle now as a couples trailer and eventually want a 5th (2-4 year plan) but they are all so big. I think we have finally found the one we want. There are a few comments I’ve seen that I agree would make it even better. The desk being able to go counter height (we already have said it would be our coffee bar/bar area so we would make it work). The bigger thing would be to be able to push the table in all the way. I know I would run into it the way it is. 😂 Maybe these will be changes by the time we are ready to upgrade. 🤞 Josh, another fantastic video.
I've been following your videos since before you and your family RV dealership became Bish's. Keep up all the fantastic informative videos you've been putting out! I happened to be going through Coldwater on my way to Elkhart to drop my friends Renegade Vera Cruz off at Renegade to get some warranty work done, and stopped by the dealership, and you were there, but you were making more videos. I wanted to tell you in person that you are doing what I think is the most informative and pleasant videos, but didn't want to interrupt you. And, FYI, I have just about the same type of humor....lol Keep it up, Josh, and maybe the next time I roll through, I'll be able to meet you, and tell you personally 😊.
Man TY for all the time and visits here :) That's a LOT of watching over the years I'm so sorry I missed you. I'm always happy to break away to greet someone!
Excellent job with the tilt on the TV since it is high. I would prefer chairs with a back for the table. Perhaps folding chairs? Queen bed is fine, you really don't need a king bed? Storage at the head of the bed is excellent idea. ABS available? Window treatment is really clean, nice job. This unit is outstanding.
Is there not an exterior vent for the microwave? Also live seeing when Brinkley uses the French door refrigerator that has the refrigerator on the top two thirds and a freezer on the bottom so you can store much wider items in your fridge Also, an option for a “cuddler friendly theater couch”?
@ thank you Would it be able to be vented though to help take out the steam and smells from cooking with the stove below especially if it’s raining and you can’t use the roof mounted one?
Really like what Brinkley does. Definitely raises the bar on this floorplan. I'll add my 2 cents on tweeks, but really not deal breakers. I agree with others about the fireplace under the table and having the table be able to close flush. Not sure how i feel about the seating for the table. I'm an old fart, so maybe chairs would be better for me. Curious why window under tv doesn't open. Would prefer that one opening rather than the one at the stove. Saw in another comment about flipping the cabinets above sofa to open in the bathroom. I second that idea! Last suggestion is actually weird... how about G rated tires rather than H rated? Gs are less expensive, more commonly available, and will probably do just fine for a 5th of this size and weight. Kudos for the underbelly storage without a drop frame and the new hitch. Overall, super job once again Brinkley!
*FIREPLACE:* I have a theory. Something most people dont know is furrion is working on a heating function option for the chill cube air unit brinkley is using. I _suspect_ brinkley is planning to potentially adopt that & built this with maximum storage
I love this model! Couple of concerns, however: First, am I going to burn my elbow over the stove while doing the dishes? Maybe I just need to stand in it to find out. Next, I’d prefer folding chairs to the stools. Last, I like the idea earlier in the comments of the counter sliding out to become a dining area, and pushing all the way in so we don’t ram our hip into it while passing by!
We love this new model....except the table! Maybe get rid of the extending table & bring the counter out to normal width with 2 chairs to sit on at the counter! Maybe a "fireplace" under the counter? Other than that, we love this model! (we're not big fans of the kitchen island). Thanks for your video reviews - so very helpful! 😀
Love it… but gotta have a fireplace … could still put one where the dinette is.. just don’t run it if you are eating… or put it where the desk is…. Not everyone wants a desk in an RV… I also have a suggestion for Brinkley for their blinds… why not make them so the the day shade comes from the top and the night shade from the bottom? That way you can walk around in your pajamas and only put the night shade down partially and still get light!
FIREPLACE: I have a theory. Something most people dont know is furrion is working on a heating function option for the chill cube air unit brinkley is using. I suspect brinkley is planning to potentially adopt that & built this with maximum storage
Love this length and floor plan! You asked about valence preference. I prefer without! Love the sleek windows. Only concern is space around pullout table, but would know better in person. A cuddle compliant double recliner option would be nice. Overall, great job Brinkley! Definitely at the top of the favorites list. Thx Josh for your informative and entertaining tours!
I would rather see the dinette where the sofa is like the GD Reflection 270BN (giving the option of recliner or tri-fold where the recliner is) and then have a fireplace under the TV. I like everything else about it.
Wow, this thing is about perfect. My only gripe may be the desk. What about extending the counter from the sink all the way to the sidewall. If they make it like a bar top with no cabinets underneath, it could double as a desk with a taller chair. Or, I guess one could leave the desk as is and if they wanted more counter fabricate a removable piece of counter you could set on the existing desk? All in all, this may be my favorite small fiver.
It might be possible. They may have a supplier limitation there preventing one single piece of counter top & are forced to either put a seam in the counter or a level change. Sometimes that happens I get the idea though. In theory what you're saying makes sense. There just might be a practical limitation
Would like 66" wide bed like the one in the I-265. Also the projector TV in I-265 kitchen would be nice. Smaller kitchen/living area needs that large window the projector displays on to. This model is almost perfect, I hope Brinkley is listening.🤞
Great review Josh as usual...Love, Love this model for a couples coach for sure. Agree about the table being in the way and would be nice to have an option for a Televator Fireplace combo and just eat on a table attached to the coach or theater seats, like in the Z 3100?
Definitely love the Brinkley‘s! From everything that I’ve heard and seen they are built like a tank and have very few problems once you driveoff the lot. Lol if only I could afford one.😂 this would definitely be a trailer that I bought in a heartbeat. Everything they do to these things is absolutely outstanding. Great video, Josh, I’m gonna save my money and get me one. 😉

WOW 😳❤😮 She's beautiful and turtle friendly at 30 feet!!!! I love the colors and styling, your wife's right, a few touches will really Pop and you can personalize. I love the camp side windows. Love the increase in the solar package.
Yeah I LOVE this one
We appreciate your positive feedback and excitement! 😊
I love it! Only thing I would do differently would be is to make the desk next to the kitchen so that it could go up to counter height. This would make more versatile if you don't need the desk.
Oooh.. variable desk.. that's a cool idea
Very cool idea! Thanks for sharing!
I totally agree. If that desk could be 2 position it would be great for extended food prep. I would hardly ever use a desk as I am near retirement. Had enough with the desks during my career. LOL.
Totally agree
Or even possibly replace the desk with for ceiling cabinetry
Showed this video to my lovely Mrs. and we both decided, we can stop looking for a 5th wheel now
That's awesome! Thanks for watching!
Wow!
I love the ambiance a fireplace adds…our current camper has one and I’m hooked and now have become high maintenance 🤪
@@damainwalker9833 I agree!
I think it's the ambience with the flames vs heating @JoshtheRVNerd
Another great video… thanks Josh! IMHO, this is Brinkley’s best Z floorplan yet! Full access to kitchen, bathroom and bedroom while en-route, while under 30 feet!
Without knowing specific dimensions of particular features or their difficulty to implement, would love to see some alterations:
1) Remove the back wall desk, and extend the countertop and base cabinet to the wall. (Looks like the countertop and base cabinet may need to reduce depth to provide clearance for the slide fascia)
2) Remove the existing countertop, table and cabinets under the TV, and replace them with a full-size “Dinesk”, width allowing. Would love to sit four full-size people for meals! Storage ottomans could be replaced with chairs.
3) The factory-installed coil suspension could be a game changer, but only if it tests well; Josh: looking forward to a future video on this!
Thank you Brinkley for another great design!
it's my personal favorite couple's FW on the market now I think.. i like this layout
Nice rig, but here are a few thoughts…
We use our fireplace a lot for heat instead of the furnace.
There is no fireplace swaption currently but there is a LOT of talk Furrion may be adding a heat option to their Chill Cube A/C units
So this RV _might_ be able to provide electric heating without losing the storage in the future. If I had to guess that's what they're preparing for.
Josh, I live in Las Vegas. I own a Brinkley 3400. I camped at Lake Mead for a week in July. Temps were 121 degrees... My Brinkley inside temp never got above 79 degrees. Amazing!!
wow! This is awesome!
You are exactly right! Thats a beautiful rig for sure! Thank you Josh!
Yeah it really is
Was not crazy about the 2670, this is a solid floor plan, only change would be forego the desk and continue kitchen cabinets and countertop. Dining table doubles as a desk. Not a deal breaker, the 2680 is now at the top of my list.... Great job on the review, TY!
Thanks for watching!
I’ve heard they may be tweaking that table further based on feedback
Love Love Love that Brinkley fifth wheel that is amazing! Thank you for showing inside the refrigerator! They thought of everything!
you bet! I try to showcase everything I can
Wow. I am speechless. This is perfect. Im normally not a fan of white cabinets and white lights but i have to say this actually is a perfect rv. Brinkley never fails to suprise me. I have nooo complaints. Thanks for showing us around!! 💪🏼👍🏼
☺ Love this positivity. Needed it this morning
@JoshtheRVNerd 😊
Thank you for the kind words!
@@BrinkleyRV Of course! You all are changing the Rv industry! Quality first! 👏🏼💪🏼
So.. some food for thought
We had some clients from my home store in a similar situation. She finally reluctantly learned to tow the RV. She hated doing it but she learned
Then about a month later the husband had a health scare while driving (blood pressure dropped). He managed to get the rv over to the shoulder safely before she took over and got them to a hospital. Thankfully he was OK but it helped she got him there more quickly than waiting on emergency staff to arrive
I hope you never encounter anything like that but.. it CAN happen
Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks, those are great ideas!
Nice one, but would love a fireplace under the table and have the table slide in flush. Thanks Josh!
Thanks for the feedback!
That is a popular request! We've passed it along for consideration.
Love this! Just needs a king bed or at least Olympic queen, televater, and fireplace. Then this would be chef’s kiss 🤌
Thanks for the feedback!
I like the olympic queen idea. I think it fits spaces nicely
I like the idea of the king size that is in your “I” Series if the space allows.
I appreciate your videos so much. You are the reason we purchased our Rockwood 2608bs-- I AM SOO thankful you continue to show more Brinkley's. I believe they are showing the way RV Should be made. I still LOVE our Rockwood, but do hope one day to get a Brinkley.
Well ty for the kind words! would you mind dropping me a quick review at g.page/r/CdPcitNVx2nDEAg/review for the helping hand during your hunt?
This unit have everything I need and want! A 3/4 ton truck for sure! Beautiful!
TY Craig! It's amazing
This is truly fantastic. Thank you…we need to seriously consider switching from our Dutch Star to this.
Wow!
Brinkley: Where luxury seamlessly blends with adventure in a thoughtfully designed RV! 😍😍😍😍They never let me down...which makes it REALLY hard to decide which to RV to get! I think I'll talk my daughter into getting one so we can swap depending on our trips 😂
That's a great strategy!!
wow!
Change the rear desk to match the countertop and put it on a desk lift system so you can use it at multiple heights on I am on board.
Several folks mentioned variable desk functions. I love that idea
This is a super cool model❤. I love the upgrades. I agree with many of the comments. I would take away the storage under the table and replace it with a fireplace. Or at least make the fireplace optional. I enjoy having the option to not run my furnace on those chilly days.
What if the AC unit had a heating option? Would that work for you?
@ No, I really like the ambiance that you get with the fireplace. Sometimes I will sit in my camper with the lights off and the fireplace on. The glow and heat simulates a fire. It brings back fond memories of growing up when you could have wood fires.
Thanks Josh! This thing looks really awesome
I love it. I think it's my new favorite couple's FW
Thanks for watching!
I 100% recommend seeing them in person. My camera is funny on that color-family
These always look more blended in person than on screen to me
Ok, I think Josh may be tired of my 👍 and comments 😅 but this model has us stoked.
Just left Brinkley Z model tour and solidified how well these are made. Highly recommend a tour... bonus we took a sneak peek at the Z2680 and much better in person. The Curt Suspension will be a game changer, will reduce the jarring of the road. I'd buy the Z2680 just for the Curt suspension, hope Brinkley keeps this for the production Rigs 🙂👍
Thanks Josh!!!
Keep them coming
Great review Josh. Cannot wait to see a production version and your pricing.
Me too, I'm curious about that as well!
TY! The new weights/measures format is SO good. Garrett nailed it on that
yes indeed!
l love that Brinkley (and a few others) are really thinking out of the box and coming up with solid solutions like that armless awning, the desk inside with storage. I love that already has the electronic keypad. For the more upscale manufactures, this is what I expect. Good stuff
Best one yet
Excellent presentation yet again Nerd! What an RV!
Cheers! 🍻
well ty ty ty
Yeah they really nailed this one
Love that you show the slides in. So many people don’t and it’s actually such an important part!
Glad to be of service :)
That kind of stuff takes a lot longer in terms of video capture time than people realize
I could probably record 2x as many videos if I didnt open the storage and close the slides. It's a HUGE amount of extra time
Gorgeous rig again Brinkley knocked it out of the park. Awesome walk through as always Uncle Josh. The only thing I would change is that slide out table I would just opt for a bar setup but other than that it's a home run.
TY Brian!
Thanks for watching, Brian! The table is something that we have already addressed for production models.
OMG Becky! They are continuously raising the bar! Brinkley my boy, you’ve done it again! Josh where do I go to vote for the RV Manufacturer of the Year? 🏆
Thank you Josh! 🤓
They actually won accolades like that
Well done Josh as usual!
Hey.. I'm clumsy too! lol :)
The table has already been addressed on our production models. The adjustable desk is an interesting idea!
I absolutely love this rv! Layout, the size, everything! We're going to look at a Brinkley this weekend since the Mrs. wants to see one. I'm always talking about them and pointing them out when we see one in the wild. I've got her excited to look at them now.
Awesome! It's probably my new favorite couple's fifth wheel at this time
I'd be curious to hear back once you've had a chance to see one!
Kinda like this? th-cam.com/video/Zhq9wuHKJ9E/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the feedback!
@@8654ZuluFoxtrot yes TV table action would be what we would do or just eat out at a restaurant 😉
As you said this one is perfect Josh.
It blowned my mind.
Nothing's wrong with it. And only 30 f waoua
Thks
Yeah she's a monster
Dude I love watching your videos. You're a corny, funny ass dude. One day I'll reach out to you and buy this Brinkley model. Great video as always, thank you!
Emphasis on the corny lol
Agree that this is a great trailer.
TY Edward!
One thing Brinkley I would add is brake light strips that are vertical on the rear add 3 on each side and have them each blink 1..2..3 like some of the ford mustangs have.
Thanks for the feedback!
Yessssss
They’re actually doing that on the G’s now
@@JoshtheRVNerd sweet can’t wait to check them out at the Hershey RV show… might be time for an upgrade!!
Finally something a little different. Not what I'm looking for, but very nice.
TY Lisa! It is nice to see a bit of originality for sure
Love this. Perfect size with all the options I want.
Nice! TY Dr. Will!
TY Ric!
Thanks for the feedback! We hope you enjoyed the tour!
@@BrinkleyRV tour was great we didnt get to see the new i but thats ok .You people at Brinkley have made it more diffcult for us to make up are minds on witch of the new 30 ft Z to buy or the i witch is a good thing thanks RIC
Hey Great rv Josh thanks allot.
Glad you liked it!
I think an extra panel should be made to fill the open space under the foot of the bed. That way it can be used under true under bed storage, but items would not move out from under bed when traveling. Otherwise love this trailer!!
Thanks for the feedback!
👍🏻 ty
Beautiful rig! Reminds me a little of Darth Vader in the front. Have seen a few of these on the road and they are eye-catching. Love that shock-absorbing hitch. As GD 303RLS owners, we really, really love the fireplace and heating/asthetic features it offers. Great review and Josh, you are so funny!!!
Your walkthroughs are the benchmark!
wow.. ty!
really nice floorplan !
I love this thing
Oh man Josh……
1) Definitely the second camper bought the first time around.
37) Nice done review Josh.
It's nuts how some things add up so quickly
*4.) LADDER:* Wrap-over ladder is nice for sure. An observation though - I've seen a LOOOOOOOT of damaged ladders over the years. Split-sections can limit damage/impact/spread. BUT.. also require you to take your hands physically off one section to another which isn't as ideal
*5.) SPARE:* You got me with the watermelon crawl. Took me right back on that one. About a hundred gallons lol
*6.) PRICING LINK:* More than one model has 2680 for a model designator which is how those links work. Even the smallest scroll shows you this unit
Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you for the amazing tour! We LOVE the Brinkley 5th Wheels. Fingers crossed we will have one someday!
My pleasure. TY for watching :)
Thank you for watching!
The suspension you saw here was a prototype feature they were testing which is why I didn't get into it on camera. They're not sure they're going to adopt it
They have a towing test track they use to beat the crap out of stuff and a vibration table in their factories to internally test further
if it passes, then we may see it. If not, then they won't change away from their existing system
Fantastic cargo capacity 👍
It is pretty great!
Someone else called it 10lbs now packed into a 4lb sack and .. they might be right
@JoshtheRVNerd well, actually it's pretty tough if not impossible to find a 5 pound sack (of sugar) now. 😬😂 But please keep saying it the way you do. I like the ring of it. Maybe one day they'll realize the error of their ways. 🤣
lol
I love it but I’m concerned that there are no drawers in the kitchen for cooking tools or silverware or a junk tool drawer for small things. I know there is silverware storage over under the table but nothing near the stove or sink. Otherwise we love it.
Thanks for watching and the great feedback! We are looking into that.
It’s 100% valid feedback. Factory has heard it and advised they’ll work on a solution
Likely adding drawers in the cabinet between trash and oven
We would order one now if it had the drawers.
Keep the new upgraded suspension. Love the camper!!
It's currently in the testing phase and not certain whether it will be adopted for production btw
I love the idea of the olympic queen. it feels like a really good "in betweener"
Oh, just went back to look at bathroom and now I see it is shared with bathroom. That is actually pretty smart.
Yeah I *really* like this one
I really love this one. Not a total fan of the gold hardware and the orangey coloured furniture but what a great layout and a tall shower! I really see the quality when viewing the Brinkley units. Very nice. Window frames are good, and they give you the ladder.
Definitely see one in person if you haven't. My camera shifts light balancing and sometimes skews how things look to the naked eye
Thanks for watching! The furniture definitely looks different in person than it does in pictures & on video.
Wow, great floorplan! Yes, please keep the upgraded suspension! We are considering pre-ordering one now.
Still in testing. Fingers crossed it works well
Huge fan of the back deck! The kitchen is nice and huge. The storage is good. The bathroom is great: the bedroom is great. Thank you! Get rid of the gold furniture and faucets!
Thanks for the feedback!
Back deck?? Did you mean to leave this common on another video like the 3400?
a 5thwheel is probably too big for myself and pets going forward, but one @30ft with this very nice layout and features galore, sure makes me consider them now!
Note: Video editing is great, and love the animated FX used with the window-info (scene-locked in 3dspace and animated!). Going up a notch, guys!
Great review, thanks Josh & team.
Yeah Garrett's work on the editing is top shelf. Love that you noticed the window portion - that helped SO much more than just me verbally describing it
Thanks, need! Ride with the herd.
☺
As someone who has ringing in their ears from listening to music too loudly.. I'm glad to see it lol :)
Thanks for watching! We appreciate your feedback!
I'm estimating we'll see these in production around march-ish?
Cousin Garrett's editing is definitely spot on
Thanks for watching! We will have Z2680's hitting shows/dealers lots in late December/early January.
@@BrinkleyRV Thank you. Very interested.
Thanks for the feedback! The table is something that has already been addressed for production models.
This is amazing! Love everything about it. Except maybe no fireplace, but that’s not much to complain about. Is there enough room to put a queen air mattress on the floor?
I don’t have exactly the floor measures but eyeballing it I think that can work
@@JoshtheRVNerdthank you!
In my mind I see myself closing that up for sleeping time if guests are over
Could be use-case dependent. If someone has multi-monitors always set up in a desk format, then perhaps it's a conflict
Though it feels like if you're going to use full-time desk functions you would use the actual desk space
Beautiful RV. One word televator
@@d1ja6 Absolutely 💯 ❤️

I ♥️ this 5th!! We have GD 22mle now as a couples trailer and eventually want a 5th (2-4 year plan) but they are all so big. I think we have finally found the one we want. There are a few comments I’ve seen that I agree would make it even better. The desk being able to go counter height (we already have said it would be our coffee bar/bar area so we would make it work). The bigger thing would be to be able to push the table in all the way. I know I would run into it the way it is. 😂
Maybe these will be changes by the time we are ready to upgrade. 🤞
Josh, another fantastic video.
Thanks for the feedback! The table has already been addressed for production models.
@@BrinkleyRV I love that you are following up with replies and changes based on feedback. Another reason we are excited about this 5th.

Basically.. it's that
I've been following your videos since before you and your family RV dealership became Bish's. And, FYI, I have just about the same type of humor....lol
Keep it up, Josh, and maybe the next time I roll through, I'll be able to meet you, and tell you personally 😊.
Man TY for all the time and visits here :)
That's a LOT of watching over the years
I'm so sorry I missed you. I'm always happy to break away to greet someone!
@JoshtheRVNerd I'm possibly going through Coldwater in January, so I'll definitely make a point of stopping by. Thnx for the comment.😊
Great video I have been watching your videos now for the past few months now great information
TY Michael!
Interesting screen name!
This unit is outstanding.
yeah it's goofy more builders dont just tilt tvs at least. It's basically zero dollars
It's great to see this higher quality offering in a
yeah orv/northwood stuff had very little competition
Is there not an exterior vent for the microwave? Also live seeing when Brinkley uses the French door refrigerator that has the refrigerator on the top two thirds and a freezer on the bottom so you can store much wider items in your fridge
Also, an option for a “cuddler friendly theater couch”?
Thanks for the feedback! The microwave is not a convection, so it does not require a vent to the outside.
@ thank you
Would it be able to be vented though to help take out the steam and smells from cooking with the stove below especially if it’s raining and you can’t use the roof mounted one?
Think about making it a convection microwave 🤔🙏@@BrinkleyRV
This one isn't vented currently no
Really like what Brinkley does.
Well done! Love it!
TY Joe!
Love the north south queen bed….
☺
I love this model!
Couple of concerns, however:
First, am I going to burn my elbow over the stove while doing the dishes? Maybe I just need to stand in it to find out.
Next, I’d prefer folding chairs to the stools.
Last,
I like the idea earlier in the comments of the counter sliding out to become a dining area, and pushing all the way in so we don’t ram our hip into it while passing by!
I’ve heard they may be adjusting the table setup further
We love this new model....except the table! Maybe get rid of the extending table & bring the counter out to normal width with 2 chairs to sit on at the counter! Maybe a "fireplace" under the counter? Other than that, we love this model! (we're not big fans of the kitchen island). Thanks for your video reviews - so very helpful! 😀
I hear they’re adjusting it further to make it less obtrusive
Love it… but gotta have a fireplace … could still put one where the dinette is.. just don’t run it if you are eating… or put it where the desk is…. Not everyone wants a desk in an RV… I also have a suggestion for Brinkley for their blinds… why not make them so the the day shade comes from the top and the night shade from the bottom? That way you can walk around in your pajamas and only put the night shade down partially and still get light!

@@JoshtheRVNerd nothing beats the fireplace ambiance though! :)
Love the desk!
I do too
Love this length and floor plan!
Thanks for watching and we appreciate your feedback!
I do prefer the theater seats with fold-up arm rests in the middle myself. TY for sharing
If that pull out table would completely disappear and it had a closet slide so I could have washer/dryer... this would be The one!😊🤗
I think they're tweaking the table based on feedback to do just what you mentioned actually
I would rather see the dinette where the sofa is like the GD Reflection 270BN (giving the option of recliner or tri-fold where the recliner is) and then have a fireplace under the TV. I like everything else about it.
Oh the little breakfast nook?
Thanks for the feedback!
Sometimes that happens
I get the idea though. In theory what you're saying makes sense. There just might be a practical limitation
This is it. This is the one.
woo!
Would like 66" wide bed like the one in the I-265. Also the projector TV in I-265 kitchen would be nice. Smaller kitchen/living area needs that large window the projector displays on to. This model is almost perfect, I hope Brinkley is listening.🤞
Thank you for sharing your feedback!
The projector/ window idea is great!
I love the idea of an Olympic queen in these
Great review Josh as usual...Love, Love this model for a couples coach for sure. Agree about the table being in the way and would be nice to have an option for a Televator Fireplace combo and just eat on a table attached to the coach or theater seats, like in the Z 3100?
That would require adding a chunk of length to this rig. Not impossible - would just need to be a different layout really
I've never seen a perfect RV but records are showing these are doing better than most anything with great after-sale support
BTW, I'm loving the new video editing! Great job Garrett.
Yeah he's fantastic
Fridge travel lock magnet should have been on the ceiling of the pantry.
Omg.. brilliant
@JoshtheRVNerd btw we noticed the (maybe prototype) over cabinet tiny lights, hadn't ever seen those on any other Brinkley's
